I think the map will help you a lot it seems to be pretty dead on. It's helped on my hikes. Also the trails up there are marked with signs so you shouldn't get lost.
They still don't want you to camp at Jack river falls but so far that's the only place I've seen they say no camping.
I always pack my tarp last so that it is easy to get to. I hang it up then the rest of my set up is in the dry. I store my pack inside the garbage bag that I have as my pack liner at night (putting...
I have both and I would pick the Warbonnet BB. It just seems to be more comfortable.
I’ve done a lot of hiking up in the cohutta wilderness. There are several different trails you can take to make a loop. I got a map from national geographic for the cohutta wilderness that would help...

My little girl is only 2 but I sure can't wait till I get to do my first hang with here. I see that you have the granite gear crown pack how do you like it?
You can go to Wal-Mart in the boating section and get some polypropylene cord for like 2 dollars it comes in bright green orange and pink. I use it as my tarp ridge line and tie outs and it works...
Im in. Thanks for the give away
Just got my dutch clips they are great thanks dutchware.
Thanks for the code
I believe your talking about the granite gear crown 60 with vapor current technology.
I'm not sure about osprey but I love my granite gear blaze and my granite gear crown both packs have done me well, are very light, hold all my gear and 7 days of food. You may want to check them out.
Both ways are good hikes as long as I'm out there that's all that matters to me!
