Too late, I ordered the standard version.
I do both as well.
Sold to drcolossus11
Welcome from Utah!
sexy, sexy
It comes with all of the original lines that came with it. One at each end of ridgeline and one at each of the four corners.
It is what they call Coyote Brown, but it looks more like a shade of brownish green to me. I have two of these, both are the coyote and they both look the same.
Here is another picture, not very...

I'm not sure what I'm missing. I don't seem to be able to post a new thread in the sale section.
Welcome from Utah!
Bear Lake
I've been at scout camp all week with highs in the mid-90s. It is hot, but not unbearable. Humidity is only 20% and we are on a lake in the mountains.
I don't know if I have any pics of my first hammock camping trip, but it was an Eno DN with a blue Walmart tarp. I'm actually camping today with a Blackbird XLC, Hennessy Hex, Jarbidge UQ and a...
Welcome from Utah!
I love my Snugpak TQ. I have camped down to the upper 40s with it and a Jarbidge UQ. I don't think I would go much colder than mid 40s though.
Love my Blackbird XLC. I'm camping in it right now at scout camp. It's the most comfortable hammock I own.

I was in mine last night with a Jarbidge UQ and it was probably upper 40s at the coldest and it could have went a little bit colder. I was toasty warm all night.

Weekend trip to Manti-La Sal National Forest near Manti, Utah.
I took my new Warbonnet Blackbird XLC out for its inaugural hang this weekend and I couldn't be happier with my decision to upgrade...
Awesome!
I was told last week that the camo blackbird was 2-4 weeks out from being ready. I'm not sure if the Superfly is on the same schedule.
I ordered a Snugpak hammock quilt on Saturday, new but from eBay, and it shipped to me today (Monday). Just an FYI if anyone is looking to get one.
Welcome from Utah! I grew up in Walhalla and still get out there a good bit every year. Great area for hanging!
It's a tough call for me between an underquilt and tarp. Rain isn't as big of a concern here in Utah, but I have been very happy to have a nice tarp on many occasions. On the other hand, my...
I remember my college dorm room quite well and I don't think a hammock would have been a great idea. It seems like it would have put quite the damper on my love life.
Welcome!
If you think tarps are expensive, wait until you start wanting an underquilt and top quilt. I'm pretty sure they are filled with gold dust.
Funny. My wife, who very rarely camps, was in the garage last week looking at the shelves that I have my camping stuff on and she just gives me that look and says "What the hell is all this stuff?". ...
Well, I went ahead and ordered the WBBB XLC w/ the optional topcover. I would have opted for the multicam option if it was available, but the olive will work just fine. I just like the full coverage...
This is a really good point. I often do the exact same thing.
I'm looking to get a new hammock that has some mosquito netting. Living in the high desert, mosquitos aren't generally a problem except for when the snow is melting (now) and closer to some of the...
Congrats! I think I will order one today for an upcoming week long camp. I've been putting it off for too long.
I like the "Be Happy" shirt. Thanks for the offer. :D
Welcome from Utah! Nice looking setup you have.
Great!
That looks pretty cool. I may have to take the kids down there. When does it become unbearably hot?
Welcome from Lehi! What part of Utah are you in?
Lots of great information here. I would suggest checking out Shug's videos for everything you want to know about hammock camping:

Welcome to the forum!
Great video. I haven't been on that trail. I may take the boys out there this week for a day trip since school is out. We have father/sons campout at Granite Flats (AF Canyon) and hopefully we will...
This was a couple weeks ago up American Fork Canyon in Utah. It was near the bottom, so only around 6,000 ft. It was a Boy Scout campout and we stayed low because it is still cold and snowy further...
I live in Utah and there are areas in the desert that would require going to ground. I have tried to avoid that as much as possible, but it happens.
It didn't get that cold, only around 30 degrees. The Hennesy tarp did great through the rain and then snow. I stayed nice and dry, even with some serious winds at times. I had a Jarbidge UQ, foot...
Just heading back in this morning from a winter camp out with the 11 year old scouts. Had a great time with the kids and woke up covered in snow. I was the only one that opted to go the hammock...
Enter me in the giveaway!
Thanks for the generosity.
It gets better each time as you modify your hang and the way you lie. I've had some of my most comfortable nights ever in a hammock. Welcome to the club!
1. I don't notice much difference with the UQ attached.
2. If weight/pack isn't a concern just get the synthetic.
3. You can loosen the UQ a bit to allow air pockets and cool it down. I...
Welcome back from another Utahn! I actually also live in Lehi (right behind Cabelas) and have a few neighbors that I have converted to hammocks, but they aren't on this forum. I spend most of my time...
Welcome from Lehi. You are in such a great place for camping/hiking. I was just hammock camping with my son in the Uintas last week at scout camp. I had one of the best nights sleep I have ever had...
