Looking for this old thread. I think I am going to build a cuben hammock.
I was just thinking, that at 98" x 53" that is almost as large as a Hennessy Deep Jungle Tarp at 97" x 64". You could about get two of your Cuben hammocks and use one as the tarp for the other.
It is looking sweet.
When you say "with tie outs" does that include the cord you are using for gathering the ends. If not, what would you recommend using to prevent abrading the ends off?
I'm...

I've noticed a big difference between the Nano7 and my homemade one I'm working with simultaneously. I'm not sure what the Nano7 is made from, but it has a lot more stretch than my Homemade which was...
Ya, I'm interested in the rest of the story. You may be doing something that I do, and that would be a bad thing if I did decide to get a cuben hammock.

That is pretty darn light. How much would that cost me?
That is the suspension, I was wondering how much the body would weigh if you made it 3 yards by 52" gathered end.
How much would a hammock bottom about 3 yards by 52" wide weigh and cost if you did it for gathered ends? I'm thinking that something like that with Dynaglide UCRs and some of my 21 gram tree straps...
