Thanks for the pictures. I most certainly have to get one now. :D
Just curious as to how small it will pack down. Anyone got pics of it next to something for a size comparison?

Will the Static V Recon fit inside the Big Agnes sleeve? The BA sleeves states a 20 inch pad and the static V is 23 inches but from what I have read the BA sleeves might have some wiggle room. Just...
I'm glad I found this thread. I have been looking into the BA system to serve dual purpose of hanging and ground use. My biggest concern was the temp rating because I plan on using their 15 degree...
Selling my Enzo Nordic knife. It has been used but not abused, edge is in fine shape. The curly birch handle is almost too pretty to use and the sheath is one of the best I have seen even over custom...
I also switched from an UQ to the Insulated Static V recently and it has been working much better
I have a Klymit Static V that work pretty good in a ENO DN

This is the Newer Bottom Entry velcro model that comes with rain fly, suspension ropes and snake skins. Does not come with tree straps. Only used a couple times. I was in a hurry to get pics of it...
Gratz man you'll love it
I attached a length of shock cord to mine and hang it from my ridge line so that it does not slip down on me at night
Sounds like a good idea
I also learned my lesson when it comes to predicting the weather near a river. Temps are always colder than the weather man says. ;)
Cool I needed some more dyneema
Yep the XLC wins.
I like the ENO tarps as they are a little more durable than silnylon ones but like they have said the ENO's do weigh more.
I have the 20 degree AHE UQ and love it.
Be sure to get out and practice with your under quilt a lot before you actually take it out for a night. I made the mistake of not being well versed in the...
I have used the Kelty Noah 9 and 12 in diamond and A frame style. No problems setting them up either way so far.
I use only dyneema now as it has the least amount of stretch and takes various knots well
I was thinking that TT might help me with my problem of not being able to get my under quilt to fit snug/
Great looking shirt
Over night trip to an Eastern Kentucky river bank. Found some good trees to hang from but got so cold around 1:00 AM I had to hit the ground near the fire. I had an under quilt setup on my Hammock...
I friend of mine used one of the Yukon hammocks for several trips and he liked it
A small cheap 40 degree bag unzipped could work until you get a dedicated TQ
I had to stretch in order to get the straps high enough but I'm well over 6 foot with long arms so that helped a lot.
I think it would make a great top quilt project.
Here is the only pic I could find showing my setup last weekend. That's my Eno DN in the background

Once I discovered Zing-It on here I left all my other cordage behind. The stuff just can't be beat.
I went on a two day camp last weekend and my whoopie slings saved the day. The only trees I could possibly hang from were a good 25-30' apart. My first thought was this is not going to work but after...
Looks like the single layer 1.7 XLC is only 3.5 oz. heavier than the Standard model.
I'm not sure which model Standard or XLC. If a 6'4" person will fit in the standard I would prefer it for weigh and space savings
I bought the Eno Bug net and really debated on how useful it would be and it turns out being my best piece of equipment. Bugs can sure mess up a trip!
I still use my Jarbridge. It works very well especially if you are in a wet environment where you risk getting a down underquilt wet.
I prefer the yellow or orange Zing-It as it seems to be more visible at night
