"It's the most usable 4.5 lbs. of rucksack you'll ever own."
Pass
That thing weighs more than half my base weight  Definitely not for the ultralight backpacker.
I'm not sure...
Didn't Michael Crichton write Ian Malcom as dressing in black to stay cool in Jurassic Park? :D
A Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro is $70 on Amazon, and looks pretty roomy due to the dual ridgeline for the netting. Add in some suspension and you have a hammock you can sit up in if you wanted to...
I have a congenital defect in my lumbar spine and had surgery 2 years ago at the L4/L5 area. I'm mostly fine, but can only really lay in bed for 3-4 hours before my mid and upper back feels...
I voted green, for love of the color and blending, but you know, orange sounds fun for some reason lol.
I was so tempted buy a Clark NX! I love the idea of being able to zip up into "tent mode" if a little shower comes along, and see the stars otherwise.

Definitely loads cheaper lol. Again, nicely done.
cool story :)
I think taking my cats camping would be a disaster waiting to happen
No, really. It's me
I didn't start hammock camping until my discovery of the Hennessy, and I bought an Expedition A-Sym from REI some time last year and loved the concept, hanging two...
Comfort :)
I can still sleep on the ground if I need to, though, but my back is much more fond of a hammock bed :boggle:
Plus, I've been enamored with "hammock-tents" ever since I first saw a...
