Went with a 10x12 cheapo until I get payed next, but I was wondering if that is too big, and if so, what size do I need?

    Thx!
  8. Any hangers between Ft. Smith AR and Nashville TN on I-40? - Leaving tomorrow

Going to go pick up a mastiff south of Nashville. I will be bringing my gear so this will be my first overnight hang. Would love to hook up even if it's just for a handshake and an iced tea!

Too much light to sleep by and I could never get comfortable in a car. I do however enjoy the shower rooms. Motels are out of the question most the time, as I feel I'm being hustled for money.

Yes, I am retired military (DAV), but my earlier tenting days was homeless before I got my VA benefits. So I have lived on little to nothing but that was without a family.

I was kind of skeptical about getting the doublenest just for myself, but I have heard that others prefer roomier as well for pads, bags, and other gear.

First hang test (now the wife wants one)

Well, got the ENO Doublenest in the mail today and was really impressed! I didn't have any production hangers so I used some milspec static line and an old cargo strap I had in the truckbox.

  20. Bummer - Walmart is not going to carry material anymore

I just found this out tonight. We went shopping and found the material in the craft section completely gone! When I inquired of the manager, she said that they were no longer carrying any material.

I was thinking of the blue tarps because with the thick hem, it wouldn't require a sewing machine. This gear needs to be made without specialized equipment.
