Ha! Even before I clicked the pic I bet myself it was a fellow beemer guy. I could use something like that for my trips as well.

Welcome from a former Michigander!
Yes, Hancock is a good store. I just got some purple when it was on sale. I'm making a hammock for my little girl who just HAS to have purple!
Looking good!
Welcome from a displaced Michigander!
Nicely done!
Ahh...looks like a 237
I got it! What a thing of beauty!
Thanks Paul
Videos can be great but for me there's nothing like being taught in person. I would find a church that has a sewing group. You'll have little old ladies fawning over you showing you everything you...
Welcome! Petoskey is beautiful for sure...wish I lived there!
No, probably tomorrow. The mail is SLOW here...I've had things show as in town & get it the next day.
The Tox is bigger?
The reason I asked is I received a shipment email from Fedex & didn't know what it was. It doesn't say who it's from. It turns out it's not my tarp.
Anyway, Marty sent me a PM that my tarp's...
So do you get a shipping notice or not? I'm chomping at the bit waiting for my tarp!
I thought this was a typo!
You sure you didn't mean farthest? Hey I used to live in Chicago so I should be able to joke about it.
Cool...maybe some day I'll make it over there. A hammock is great but what if you're touring where there aren't trees ?
Welcome!
What do you ride? I just put my LHT on the trainer...very high wind gusts here. Man would I love to tour the UK!!!
Hey Pag,
It's funny I read this post yesterday & took note of the sale. Then today I'm going through my mail at the office & see this post card from Banash's! I'm not a tailor or in the sewing...
Me too...I got my OMW in black. I didn't realize the brown was that light. Nice tarp.
Received my order yesterday! I'm very happy with Redden.
Nicely done!
I'll bet she likes the beard too!
I bought some last night. The sale's over now.
Ah..got it
I make bow strings so I've worked quite a bit with synthetic fibers but never zing/lash-it. It's pretty slippery to splice isn't it!
Thanks...I was hoping it was 20*
Good price
GLWS
I did. So there's no difference between 800 & 900 fill ?
What's the temp rating?
What are guys splicing 1.75 Zing-it/Lash-it for (application)?
Welcome! I've got a good friend from Ironwood...he still has a cabin there I think. I spend as much time as I can at my folks place by Paradise.
Take care
This is good to know as I have an OMW on order.
Thanks
Nice looking tarp
GLWS
Its GOTTA work!!!
I've tried my BB in hot weather and it's okay if there's a good breeze. If there's little to no wind, it can get really hot! I've had to abort sleeping out because it was so hot I couldn't get...
This is the way to go for me! I saw it in a video here and thought "why didn't I think of that"
ftroop got it?
Sold?
:(
I just ordered & forgot about the discount...oh well next time
Nicely Done!
What camera did you use...looks like a Kodak remote
Hey Deerhntr-
Welcome from a displaced Michigander!
Welcome from a displaced Michigander!
Just ordered an OMW...can't wait to get it!
Nicely done...thanks
Is it up now or do we have to wait until tomorrow?
Thanks...I agree
I don't like to pay for something that I don't want or need.
Do you like this better than your BB?
I noticed the website says suspension sold separately. I think they started with Whoopie then went to strap/buckles. Did yours come with straps or were they extra?
Both sold?
I thought it was sold?
There were only 3 left:
Singer 237
Kenmore
New Home
I picked the Singer because it was the heaviest. I thought it must have more metal parts.
Thanks for your help Pag
Nicely done! How long did it take you to get to this point?
Thanks a lot Pag! That's helpful. I'm looking at the machines tomorrow morning to see what's there & test them out.
I always set up the tarp so the seam is stretched/ under tension before sealing. I know someone that just laid the tarp on a table and sealed it under no tension. It leaked like a sieve when set up...
