Thanks Cannibal, I may get a couple and see what I think.
Just wondering something... If the 9 is held by tension, would there be a danger of getting it stuck where you can't get it off??
Now that's what I call service!!! Thank you, Cannibal.
It doesn't sound to me like the figure 9's are what I'm looking for, but I'm not sure I'm picturing them just right. Is there a a picture of how you use them, Slowhike, (or anyone with a similar...
I'm no expert at this stuff yet, but I try to really pull the tarp tight between the trees. I usually try it 4 wrap style with half hitches. I'm sure I just have no clue how you use the figure...
I'm looking for a good way to put the tarp up.... it seems you could only use a figure 9 on one side of the tarp. Is there a way you can pull the tarp tight with the figure nine or are you only...
I doubt the stock cord would be too thick to attach rings, but I don't recall how thick it is. It doesn't look like it would be a problem from looking at pics on the website. You could attach a...
For my third consecutive post......:p If I were changing and ENO to rings this is what I'd do.
I'd pull the cord out of the channel *being very careful to drag another temporary piece of...

If you are concerned about cutting through the channel in the hammock end, you could pass the cord through several times to cover more surface area, spreading out the pressure.
The more I look at the picture, I realize that the rings being stacked or not is a direct result of the knot that is tied. Hear me out.
A "knot" does not allow the loop of cord that the rings are...
I'm probably splitting hairs here, because they obviiously both work, but with that said it is my opinion that it is better to have the rings stacked as it pulls the bight of strap farther into the...
I just put ring buckles on 2 hammock (wife's and a friends). I put them both together in less then 10 mins and it cost. $o.20/foot for the webbing (12') and $0.87 for the rings. (I think I...
