Welcome from Richmond! I'm another KY hanger solo section hiking the Sheltowee from south to north. Maybe I'll pass the group on my way up.
I'll take the ZPACKS Cuben fiber pack rain cover and the 2QZQ snake skins.
I'll take it, if you accept PayPal.
I'll take the WBBB.
My Jarbidge came with a mini biner on the shock cord at each end. One green and one black to differentiate the head and foot ends. Just clip it on the suspension.
I have a Cub Zip. Never used. I'm in Richmond. $60 sound fair? Hammock, tarp, but no snake skins.
I felt creative and used some gutted paracord to tie a ranger bead on mine.
I'll buy it for a decent price. How much would you want for it?
I found my braided mason line at Lowes. They had pink and white.
Hanging lets me do more hiking. So, I have to go with the hike. Reaching places I can't get to in one day.
I've had my Explorer and Hex in the same skins. Not too difficult if you wrap everything up tightly. I'm another one that has switched to putting them in separate skins. Best solution for me.
You are correct, SmokeBait! Aardvark, glad to find some local hangers on here.
Just joined the forum. I'm in Richmond. New to the hammock thing or I would have joined you. Once I get all the necessities I'll be ready to hit the gorge.
Wow! Looks like I found a friendly group. I would be interested in a group hang if there are some near me. Not prepared for it at this time (need to practice at home some), but sometime as Spring...
I've decided to try hammock camping. The ground is way too hard for this old boy's body. Looking forward to learning from you all.
