There seems to be enough posts scattered throughout on various knots, hitches, hardware etc, that a separate section for them might be nice, or even an 'encyclopedia' of references for them.

I meant lay the rope along the webbing, and tie both into a marlin spike hitch at the same time, so both are involved in the hitch together.
Has anyone had luck using a marlin spike hitch, or other easy release hitch, to attach cord from the hammock to webbing on the tree? Then just one thing to tie/adjust on each end.
Saline nose spray, I think one brand is Ayr. Keeps the nasal cavity moist. Can also use a qtip to put neosporin or just vaseline in the outer part of the nose if that is getting dry and irritated. ...
