Just got a hammock back from 2QZQ. Hennessey Expedition... had the Mod 4 with triple zips on both sides. Fantastic job. Can't wait to take it out this weekend!

Thanks for all the great help. I think I will make another one and go with 1.9 and 1/8" whoopies... and tell him not to jump into it. I will post some pics when it is done.

Just made my first diy gathered end hammock. A double layer 1.1 camo ripstop, 56" by 123" with diy whoopies and an adjustable ridgeline. (7/64 amsteel). I like it. Slept out in it last weekend....
I am also new to this forum. Been hammock camping for a couple years. I am down here in Shreveport (NW Louisiana) and also hike a bit in the Ouachita National Forest.
