That is EXACTLY what I was thinking of doing for our Clark Vertex. Ours will just connect the foot bed to the shared tripod with the head ends on separate tripods.

We did not get underquilts from Clark. They said they are working on a z-liner for the Vertex, but it wasn't available. I grabbed two sleeping bags, paracord, shock...
