Ah, gotcha. Prices have been added.
Thanks,
Dave
Well, I hate to sell my hammock, but times are hard, and I haven't used it as much as I should (used it only once this summer, for 30 minutes.)
This is part of the "One Link Sleep System", which...
While you COULD use it, I wouldn't say that I felt extremely comfortable with it there. I still prefer the "backup" of the door hinge.
However, it CAN be done.
I would also like to add this (stolen from justjeffs site... sorry!)

Well, I tested it out. Put it right between the middle and upper hinges, closed door, and sat down in the hammock. The rope didn't budge.
The first pic is from the side, before the moment of truth...
Yup, but, my point, atleast, is that I'm not hanging from a hinge. Using the hinge as a STOPPER (i.e. keeping the carabiner from sliding), while the force goes on the door.
Lets do some math:

I'll be willing to part with my Eno Guardian Bugnet, from my One Link System. I have only used it twice, and have found that I only need it in the summer, when I don't have time to hang anyway.
PM...
No rafters in garage... It's already been "finished". Honestly, after 2 separate nights sleeping in the hammock, I let the doors open, and inspected for any signs of damage, but since the doors are...
Here's a few links to get you started, if you want to diy. These really only scratch the surface, as there are unlimited ways to go with a stand.

I finally got setup to hang inside, in the ac... I actually just posted this earlier:

Sure is. Now I just need a way to hang in the garage!
I'm back... I've got to confess, I have been cheating on this forum. For the past 9 months now, I've been TRYING to restore a 66 mustang, and have spent most of my time in the garage, at work, at...
If you had changed it to "cletus", it would work for SC.
We can work with Bubba, though!
Welcome! (kinda?)
The slow guy can still trip the fast guy!
Hi there,
I'm an eBay power seller. I can tell you from experience that there ARE people out there on eBay that are great at manipulating others, especially when it comes to emails/ebay messaging....
In my (biased) opinion, I would go with the Eno Double Nest. Very roomy, and comfortable. Not the lightest, but would work for car camping.
As for suspension, I think that the forum concurs...
Even though slap-straps don't really have a place in hammocking....
they make EXCELLENT dog leashes! :boggle:
I'm dropping the price to $40 shipped. I need to get rid of this asap!
thanks,
Dave
I'm willing to go lower on the price, just PM me... I need this gone asap!
Up for grabs is an ENO Guardian bugnet, It's a little dirty, but has only been used twice, and those were day hangs- Never over night. Still has the tags...
Asking $50 + $5 priority mail...
I have a hallway with 2 doors on opposite sides at opposite ends. They are exactly 10 ft apart from where you can hook in. I just use a large knot in my webbing, put it behind the hinge, and shut the...
Hey guys, I was just browsing the ENO site, and noticed that the usually $64.95 Pro Nest is on sale for $49.95, if you buy the red! I'm not sure if anything else is on sale or not, but I thought I...
Hadn't thought about this until this thread. +1 to the "to-do" list.
:laugh::lol::D
Anyone remember the thread entitled: "MMM! Sausage!! Growled the bear..."
Ah. Our Col. was able to get us all passes to buy whatever we needed there, though. I don't think NJROTC quite counts as active duty. One day....
The Quantico MCX didn't have any poncho liners.... **gasp!**
Looks like I'm going to have to turn to amazon. **another gasp!**
Yeah, it was a greasemonkey pop-up script. Problem solved. Sorry about that guys!
Oh... Must be my browser? (Firefox)
Hello Mods,
I have noticed that with the ads in the top right, -such as when I click on them- go to a gif image of the ad. I like to see what is out there, and the ads present some of my different...
The one day this week that I DIDN'T hang my hammock between my two regular trees, a HUGE limb fell where my hammock WOULD have been. Needless to say, I'm going to be much more critical when picking...
Well, I guess I'm going to be buying one or two poncho liners, I hope the Quantico PX has plenty in stock, since we'll be up there this weekend. I'll keep you guys posted on how the project unfolds.
Aye, thanks for the AMAZING illustration's, Dejoha!
Well, you have (AMAZING) pictures, so I guess it happened. *sigh*
Great photos!
If you don't really know if an UQ is for you, you could try this:

If you find out it's not for you, you're out, what, $20-30?
Good...
I'm going to bump up this thread because we have had a lot of question's about these lately.
Anyway, has anyone tried one of these out?
By itself, what kind of temperature rating would you give...
Pillow?
(Stupid character limit!)
My brother fell on his back getting into my eno once... As for me.... I haven't fallen out, per-se.... But, there was this one time my brother decided to jump into the hammock, with me already in...
As the title implies, I have been wondering about a way to rid myself of a bug net, and perhaps lighten the load (tarp-wise). I have seen things like hammock socks to protect from the wind/etc, but I...

That works too. It has the word "man" in the name, so all is well.
Lonely Raven,
That looks awesome! Excellent work!
many thanks for the pictures- I'm working up the courage to tackle one of these guys.
Well, if it's camo/od green, just call it a "man-robe" and we'll let you off.
I think you have a trail-name.
Extremely well put. That (^^^) is why the hammock forums thrives like it does- people like you!
The force is strong with this one...
Muwahahaha!
