I can relate! My first underquilt just came in a few days ago. Now I have to try it, hopefully in a couple of weeks.
It is slippery by design, but more wraps on your prusik knots can overcome that.
I also thought about the second prusik when I set up my continuous ridgeline, but finally rigged it as the picture shows. It worked fine with only one, and it is simpler.
After tying a whole bunch of taut-line hitches last weekend on my Superfly this may be just the type of thing I was looking for.
