Add gross grain both inside and out and put a hole in that. It will prevent wear

Just angled out and tied off. Try to keep a 60 degree angle on all poles. They are just 2x3x8 with a few holes drilled.

Keep trying to find the correct spot to hang but every spot I think of is in a path to another room which would be in the way
