Understood. That's what I do too but Kurt was commenting on how nicely the HH system works as designed, with the tarp and hammock going into a single snakeskin.

But then you lose the simplicity of the tarp attached to the hammock suspension which is part of the HH appeal. Maybe you can prussik the tarp to the webbing?
