You will get cold spots with a sewn through. I would feel fine taking this down to 45 maybe 40degrees. But after that, it's baffle time. The 3 season I have made had 2" baffles.

Yep. I went back and forth with the size of the baffles and then saw Bloomgorge's Hammock Gear summer sewn through and liked the look.
I knew I wanted 6 to 7 ounces. I use the method of no seeum...
It worked really well by sewing the the 3 edges first, then doing the middle stitch and working away from the middle.
