Hi Adam
Plenty of pictures out there of your great gear.
Sorry I'm at work and don't have the time to completely re-attach some of my pic's but here's the HF links.
...
I had a great experience last April in a fly camp hunting Red deer in the Rut (Breading season). Not sure if anyone has heard a red deer in the rut but they roar a bit like a lion x cow at each...
No probs at all. It's a pleasure dealing with you guys. I'm more than happy to recommend people towards your gear. Maybe I'm biased though ;)
I did this also to my HG 4 seaosn tarp for the door tie-ups. (To keep them rolled up when they are not needed, ie; most of the time)

It's quite neet...
Hopefully I can find out one day soon. I fear it might be on hold until next winter for me now though as my wife is all but ready to drop our first baby out any day now.
I would say it would take...
LOL :lol:LOL Yep it does look like a blimp but a beauty none the less eh !!
The wide burrow is definately made for the ground and hammock. That extra 6" makes all the difference on a pad. I do...
Meet my new 3 Season "Phincubator" and Wide Burrow in M50/10D
:boggle::boggle::boggle::boggle::boggle:
Yep in my never ending quest for the ultimate quilt set I have just received another...
I've made some great little soft shackles from dynaglide. Fiddly to make but excellent for attaching small things etc. Not as easy to open as amsteel but that doesn't bother me as i'm not opening and...
Your all but the same size as me.
Regular as you have been quickly informed will work great in the hammock.
Shoulders to mid calf. I'm 5'11".
I find the new suspension makes the quilt feel a lot more true to length as they don't bunch up. My UQ feels 6-8" longer with the new setup and I've been able to...
What you wil find with the cottage manufacturers is the ratings they put on gear are what the majority of people will be nice and warm at. Unlike the mainstream companies than do the whole EN rating...
Awesome. Now you have just made my wait a little harder.
I too have one on order but at 68" long.
I think Adam might have dubbed these as a "Phincubator"
sold......
The burrows work just as well as any TQ when ground camping. How big are you around the shoulders/girth ?? Might be something to consider if ground camping is on the cards as a 50" wide direct taper...
Doesn't TeWa make a sewn through summer UQ ?? (Sorry I cannot access his site from work to link it)
Selling my trusty Montane Featherlite windproof gear.
This stuff is amazing for the weight and warmth it provides. Suprisingly waterproof too, only good for about 30min decent rain before wetting...
I'll agree that M50 is a dream for UQ's (Or any outer shell quilt for that matter)
It's very light and very windproof. A lot more windproof than 1.1 ripstop.
I like a breathable fabric on the...
Funny how everyone is different. I'm fine with 8mm CCF down to -7°C ??
I would have thought 12mm is heaps of insulation and it's possibly something else causing the cold feet. Are you wearing a warm...
SOLD, Lock er up mods.
BushBuddy Ultra & Evernew 1 Ltr Titanium Pot SOLD
Great little stove but I have been using my Caldera Fosters pot alcohol stove a lot more lately. Slowly seling off gear that's just not getting...
Nice review
Stormcrow is a wizard with this hammock quilting stuff for sure.
Nice to see you can ge comfortable with such a small set of quilts.
That UQ sounds sweet and the TQ is tiny, wow,...
Both UQ and TQ now sold.
Mod's, lock'er up !!
Strawberry Ridge, Under Mt Jagungal, NSW, Australia.
Cool setup on some weird twisted log/tree. And a awesome view for Km's around.
You will love it Phil.
Cannot believe an Aussie said "Hike"..... It's a Bushwalk man, Bushwalk.....;);)
Phoenix UQ sold to Logrus.
Custom Burrow still for sale.
Morning Bump.
Gees I really thought these wold have been snapped up. Especially from another Aussie or someone chasing a quilt set internationally.
The TQ would cost new $275, Breaking that...
I could cope with the shorter length yeti with just a longer footpad. For me the big thing is the width of the phoenix. You can't add width if you need it. I tried another cottage UQ that was...
I have a question for people with all M50 quilts.
Do they loft up well once unpacked and recompress okay ??
I just noticed with my M50/7D set that when I stuff them away after they have lofted...
Sorry for the delay but I sent this onto Lepmeister back on the 16th March 2011 as per his PM's to me.
I had to dig up the PM's from my email as I'd cleared out my HF PM inbox.
Any Aussies after...
How good would it be to have the different fabric choices as a dropdown option on the HF site, just like overfill etc.
Maybe this would be a future improvement once Adam gets his UL fabric supply...
Do you guys find more or less stretch compared to 1.1 ripstop. I made a 1.1 ripstop single layer DIY gathered end hammock and had shoulder pressure. Stepping up to 1.5 ripstop made a huge difference...
Hammock Gear Custom Wide 20°F Burrow TQ.
$200 USD + Post.
Aussies pay $10 postage, will post world wide for $30 USD. (It will probably cost more but I'll absorb the cost)
I had this made to...
Nothing wrong with the standard 1.1 ripstop stormcrow uses.
The lighter fabrics are... well lighter. But yes you give up a fair amount of durability with the lighter stuff so it's kinda...
Wow, 13oz and the 20°F Burrow has 12oz 900fill down:confused:. Um that only leaves 1oz for the shells and baffles which doesn't quite add up.
I have just had Stormcrow make me a custom 30°F TQ...
HI Panics, Just noticed your an Aussie. Hi Mate.
I would think a 0°F incubator will be too much for most of your use. (Not quite sure where you are located though)
If the plan is for mostly...
Anyone able to actually weigh a new 3S incubator ??
I'm confused between the weights also and the website doesn't appear to be updated yet.
Just a few pic's from the weekend of the cuben 4 season, In blue of course !!
Pitched it down tight. Without me in the hammock the tarp and hammock suspension were both level where they meet. This...
Hi, Another aussie hanger will not go astray !!
A few further pic's for ya
Meet my new gear. Okay, I’ll say this just once... This gear is awesome and the workmanship is second to none. :boggle::boggle::boggle::boggle::boggle:
I’ll start with the tarp.
Blue 0.51oz/yd...
I have mounts up on our deck for my WBBB. Metal hooks actually so the chance of them failing is slim.
My wife is 6 months pregnant now. I cannot get her out of the hammock of a weekend if she...
Had the chance to play with the new suspension last night.
Really like the system and for me I don't really need the primary and prefer just the secondary suspension and linelocs on the corner....
Just wondering what everyone is using on there cuben tarps.
I've allways been a continuous ridgeline guy, figured it was a liitle stronger for a cuben tarps as most of the tension is on the cord,...
I have trolled around reading up on overfill.
Some say overfill works well to boost the rating, others say it will just make the quilts rating more solid in wind etc.
My end goal is a 30°F very...
They sound great. I'm keen as for my 30°F HG M50 / 7d quilts to arrive maybe next week ??
I'll be posting up a review when they land here.
Cannot wait for the pic's when you post them !!

Hammock Gear's 20*F Burrow top quilt. I would get it in regular length, wide cut, and over stuffed 2oz. I weighs roughly 21oz, warm to 20 degrees, and costs about $230....
Hi there
What colour is the M50 ??
I was out hunting feral goats a few years back and was having a lovely midday snooze in my hammock when these critters woke me up bleating away.
They had no idea I was there and you can clearly see...
Friendly BUMP.
These would be a great set and with no wait time even better.
HG stuff rules !!!
