Hey Guys,
I just returned from a trip from 5 day trip Isle Royale NP and it is quickly becoming apparent that most of my backpacking nights will be spent at 30-40 degrees if not lower. I am...
Thought it was worth a post on here. Not expecting too much more than a sleeping bag liner, but for $14.50 its worth a shot.

Sounds like a win win for the UL crowd. I'd like to throw my hat into the ring.
Wow, Congrats on running such a successful business! Its always nice to see cottage vendors doing so well : )
Nice! I just received my Jarbridge about a month ago (I assume its the APEX Climashield but the receipt did not indicate it) but I'm glad to hear that there is another satisfied customer : ) Can't...
Still waiting on my Apex Jar Bridge : (
Glad to see the information here. I am as well considering a trip to glacier this coming summer.
great deal on the Hiker Pro
Glad you found something! I am in need of an UQ and with so many options available it is a tough choice on how to proceed.
+1 Camoxjeep
Unfortunately I am finding out it is going to take me at least 2 season to get the gear to complete my transition to hammock backpacking.....
Hey guys, Thanks for the information.I'll head over there and check it out!
I was just wondering if any hammockers here have hiked the Sheltowee Trace in one go? Me and two friends were contemplating doing it in the coming summer. I would love to get a general discussion...
Sounds like your in a prime hiking and hammocking situation. Welcome to HF!
welcome from a fellow Scout!
Welcome, sounds like you will fit in around here.
Not a bad first trip out.
Welcome! Great hammock choice!
Welcome from a KY Eagle Scout!
Yes! rock bridge is pretty spectacular. Definitely one of the under sold attractions of RRG.
Dang it, I missed this.
After 8 straight nights of inadequate insulation I have found that a cold night sleep is no fun. Can't wait to hear how it goes, better you than me. I will NOT be going out until it warms up or I...

If you are looking for a primitive campsite go down tunnel ridge road. It is littered with primitive campsites along the road. A favorite of mine is Tar Kiln
^^^^ very good trail^^^^
I have seen some people go up the side of Courthouse Rock, but definitely would not recommend it in this weather. I only made it about halfway up before turning around....
I will hop on the band wagon here too, excellent choice with the WBBB. I chose one myself. Welcome from KY
Not a motorcycle hanger, but welcome KY anyway!
Welcome from across the river. Congrats on the Yeti, I am still saving up to buy a legitimate UQ. One thing I noticed in my short time hanging, when your legs are cold your core will soon follow...
Welcome from just south of the river. Looks like you have hit the ground running. Upvote for all the DIY equipment!
I frequent RRG and did a trip there with a buddy over Presidents Day this year. We did the Gray's arch loop it was beautiful because we were lucky enough to get some snow flurries mid-hike. ...
Only difference I would see is that with a cat cut you may get a bit more coverage, due to the added tabs sitting a bit higher than with a Hex cut. But, I would assume adding more tabs would still...
Good idea, just need a good space to test the setup.
Great! Any suggestions on the measurements of the tabs placement to optimize coverage?
