to anyone still curious as to how the sewn through bottom held up,have slept in it about 70 nights and have had no issues with the sewn thru bottom.still holding up great.

FRED finally weighed my hammock.it is 37 oz.with snakeskins and whoopies
did not make it to be lightweight.

thank you .it has been a warm sleeper.good thing i have a sled to haul it and all the down pillows i used for the pockets around.
the wallmart bags worked,but were not great.i had about two bags...

stevebo,yes the pleating is to compensate for the curve of the hammock as it effects loft of the insulation.the best way i can explain the pleating is by setting you a task.
