+1, I went out and at 62 degrees I was comfortable with my 50 degree bag but my back was cold and there isn't much else you can do for it other than a UQ..
Good luck

JimT
I love it, I kinda wish I would have got the camo tarp, it just looks plain cool!!!
Thanks everyone, the feet are almost better, hoping another couple days they will be ready for more abuse. This place is really awesome, almost magical when your alone.
@KP- I am going to have to...
The worst part about it is that you may have to watch the videos more than once to get all the info!!! J/K there is a lot of valuable info in them and they are a blast to watch. Raul Perez...

Not a bad idea, I'm going out to Panther Creek now for an overnighter there are normally some forestry service people around I'll ask if I see one.
Maybe one weekend we can get out there with out...

Wow kinda miss that place. I had worked an assignment at Enloe Medical Center about 2 years ago. Great little town lots of outdoor stuff to do. Thanks for sharing.
Hahaha!!! I am following your lead, after I get my phoenix and burrow I am thinking possibly the cuben tarp or that new "invisible technology" one shown in the videos,.... Enjoy! I probably...
Well I decided to go to REI and check the Alite Butterfly Chair out.
They had a model on display and it is a definite challenge to get in and out of. One attempt getting in, I just about tweaked my...
'Chipmunk on crack', love it!!!
I hope you guys enjoy the hammock and he lets you get some hang time in it...
JimT
They are not the "best" backpacking chair at all! They are clumsy, bulky and dangerous to get in and out of so you really need to send it to me!!! J/K
I have looked at all the retailers and the...
I have seen a video review on that chair and it seems awesome, I just hate the fact that requires your legs on the ground to stabilize it. If I cant find a sling light or cradle lounger I may just...
Hi everyone, I am looking for either a sling-light or cradle lounger chair. I want to be off the ground with back support and it has to be fairly light <2.5 lbs. Where I go many times the ground is...
Dang, Your 685 and you posted yesterday I ordered mine yesterday and I am 728!!!
I hope you didn't order yours on the fourth or I am in for a looong wait
JimT
Yay!!! That would be awesome if I could get it before next weekend. What swayed me to HG was the 900 fp down otherwise it would have been a toss up... and it is DWR so I am really happy now!!!
JimT
BTW, are these things DWR, or do I need to do that myself???
I just did it, pulled the trigger on a 900 FP summer phoenix and summer burrow with 1 oz overfill!!! :boggle:
That will complete my kit for now, well other than the chair thing!
I am order...
Wow, that's just crazy!!!! Glad they don't do that with underquilts and other gear.
I am so on the fence right now for this one and another one.... Decisions decisions... or should I say spend, spend, spend! It seems like a great deal.
I am really loving that Jerry/BonsaiHiker/UQ frankenseat! kinda has everything I am looking for and as another poster said it can be used as a footpad for the 3/4 quilt I am getting! Dang I need a...
I haven't heard back from Funny Money or Swamp Donkey yet but if I don't hear from them before I get ready to send it out I will get it out to you...
Jim
