woot got some nice boots and smart wool socks for $50 shipped. saved $100 total too.
make me an offer. cash or trade.
i know it's not hammock related but my dad got a new phone and doesn't need this anymore. It's in great shape and works perfectly. He wants $130 shipped to the lower 48....
welcome to HF. this seems like it would work if that's the set up you want. but the easiest way to do it would be to just get a rainfly to block the wind and keep the bug net like it is.
do the hammock and tarp come with suspension? and are prices including shipping?
no not at all
traded for the pocket rocket
yeah in Ocala National there is a nice looking 34 mile segment of the FL Senic Trail that goes by a few springs and such so 10 a day seems pretty good. im getting excited. too bad i can't go for a...
ok thanks guys. i was actually thinking of Suwannee so i think ill check that out and Ocala is only about an hour away so I might do both.
where's a good place in North FL to go on a 2-3 day trip that will allow you to hang? trying to plan a trip after christmas.
yeah the seem very comfy to me except they are a lil snug.
i would also trade these for a pocket rocket type stove or anything around the same value
gotta love little kids lol
pm me your address and i'll get the straps
what color are the slapstraps?
I have a pair of brand new fivefinger sprint in red. my mom got them for me but they are too small. they are size 43 which is like a 10 or 10 1/2. $55 shipped....
i personally am a fan of biners, although im still kinda new to this whole thing
you should use the blood if you ever want the ropes to come apart. i hav the fisherman in a rope and i think i'd hav to just cut on either side of the knot at this point to get them apart.
ground!!! what ground?!?!:scared:
ok. i was thinking about makin an outdoor stand since my yard doesnt have many trees (the time i did hang it up it was from a tree to the light pole lol) so maybe ill make it so it can be taken apart...
haha the only problem with asking this type of question is everything is going to be answered with opinion.
ive seen people tie off a cord to a tree, root, ect to use as a puller to keep you swinging so the air is moving until you fall asleep, then the heat doesnt matter lol. just wash the hammock if you...
just my opinion since im a big guy but if you havnt already, i would replace the s-hooks with biners or something like that. s-hooks just dont make me feel safe :D
what's the best way to hang a hammock inside? eye hooks from wall to wall? cut small holes in the ceiling to attach to rafters? oh yeah and if it matters, im using a ENO double
congrats. that'll be something to tell the grandkids. just make sure they know it was all up hill in the snow while you were barefoot.
make sure if you use rope or cord to use a peice of stick in your knot so it's easier to untie. just a helpful tip
im about 250 and i love my doublenest!! i feel very comfy just jumping in after set up.
