Yeah the 11 foot tarp should work great assuming you are using a structural Ridgeline on our hammock? Should have plenty of room.

I also can't see see that much of a difference..
Love my winter palace sometimes the size of the tarp is a little big, but Definetly like the extra coverage
Definitely would not suggest any of the eno tarps! Not a good idea. Guyline are very bad and they inner strands slip through the casing. So your going to have to replace those. It's just not worth it...
Check out the smaller warbonnet tarps !
Love my 12 foot HG winter palace coverage is nice but Somtimes hard to find trees
Love my warbonnet xlc! Take a look at the warbonnet options!
The guardian is very heavy and is not the best in ease of use. It's very thick and doesn't allow much airflow. I'd suggest another option
I love my winter palace! Can't go wrong
I made fixed eyes at the end of my tie outs so they can easily be detached to and from my tarp. This way lines can easily come off tarp if certian tie outs won't be used
Check out shugs YouTube channel! Great stuff! Covers all the basics! Really helped at the beginning!
I like to use a small piece of tyvek as well.
You can find much cheaper and lighter options ! Check out the cottage venders!
Don't buy eno! Check out other cottage venders hammocks! Much more value for a better product!
I have had trouble reaching them with emails too?
I have had nothing but positive experiences with HG! Customer service is amazing!
Gotta agree ! A huge thanks to Adam and everyone over at HG! The customer service is amazing! I'm hooked! Wouldn't go anywhere else!
I love mine! cant go wrong with hammock gear! Amazing customer service!
what is the original price for the quilt?
NEITHER! Their tarps are trash. Trust me! they are heavy and they come with crap for guylines,so more money out of your pocket. Check out the tarps from the cottage manufactures! you find much more...
Hammock Gear Winter Palace 12'!!!! so much space! everything and anything fits under the tarp!
I got my cuben tarp from Hammock gear and I love it! no complaints! Amazing customer service!
You would be much better off buying something from one of the cottage manufacturers! Alot of them offer quilts specifically for Hennesys.
Until it gets below 60 degrees i can usually get away with some type of fleece blanket, but after that for me my underquilt is a must!
Check out Darren Hansen's set up videos he has some awesome ideas! Check out his channel on YouTube.
I stuff my cuben tarp in the stuff sack with the tarp flyz attached. I've never had any trouble with holes. My tarp flyz is attached with a continuous loop.
Gunna have to try out that method for the pullouts soon thanks! Awesome idea!
I have the 12' but and an 11' hammock. You could easily get away with the 11 foot tarp. Like sidewinder said I don't thing you notice the extra length much and don't know if it's worth it. I feel you...
I did a lot of research before I bought my tarp and read a lot about the super fly ! Very nice tarp definitely worth consideration !
From the testing I've done so far I haven't had a problem with it. But I hope to do some more testing later on this week and maybe sleep in the backyard for some testing.
Honestly it's really tough stuff. I got my hands on some spare material from my tarp and the stuff is pretty tough. Unless your trying to poke through it deliberately It is pretty hard to rip or...
Don't get an eno tarp. Biggest waste of money. I got the dry fly with my first hammock. It's terrible. The cord for the tie outs is cheap. The cat cuts are way too dramatic and the coverage for the...
That's pretty awesome I'll have to try something like that!
Totally agree just throw it in your pack somewhere or at the bottom of your stuff sack on all your trips. Easy fix.
I vote go for the doors. Check out the warbonnet superfly. It has awesome coverage and it has doors. They are a minimal weight cost and you'll always have they If you want them.
I use zing it! It's better if you plan in doing any splicing! Get it from Samsonrope.com you get like 180 ft for 20 somthin bucks! Great deal!
I use a cf winter palace with my xlc plenty of coverage!
I would try to stay away from eno products. The hammocks are okay at first, not long after you'll be wanting to upgrade. I'm waiting on my wbbb xlc right now!
wbbb all the way! much better lay!
You should use a continuous ridge line for your tarp. Put the tarp on top of the ridge line and all you'll have to do is use prussic and slide it back to see the sky.
Shug's videos will explain everything you need to know! great info there!
Definetly much lighter. Much less bulk. All that i can't get it the hammock stuff sack is the tree straps, but with smaller webbing i'm sure it can be done. Everything could possibly be in one bag.
There are much better options for a lot less of a weight penalty! i'd look other places.
Just to add on to what others have said, its good you asked about ENO. The tarps have next to none coverage in heavy storms. All guylines must be replaced very quickly due to the crappy line used....
I highly suggest you look at other tarp options besides ENO! You'll get a much better tarp for your money.
What are your options on these two tarps? How do they compare? I'm not sure which tarp to get? Any advise? The superfly seems to be much more popular on the forums, but is there a legitimate reason...
Hey,
I was wondering what your guys opinion of the JRB 11' x 10'? I don't see this tarp talked about very much on here and I was wondering why? How does it stack up to a superfly?
Hey, I'm having a hard time deciding on which tarp to buy. I'm looking for a 4 season tarp. My main two choices are either to spend a little more and buy a hammock gear cubin fiber tarp with doors or...
Hey, I'm looking for some advise on which tarp I should get. I'm having a hard time deciding if I should spend the extra money for a hammock gear cubin fiber with doors or to spend a little less...
Hi, I'm a new hanger. I am looking for any other hangers near Cincinnati, Ohio. I am looking to try out any other hammocks and just look at other tarps and set ups out there! I'm trying to pick what...
