I want one! haha
...to hang in the middle of campus. Fairly righteous.
Where you guys hanging today?
Thanks guys.
Anyone have one for a reasonable price?
Split shipping?
I also need some sort of small fold-able pot to cook on it with.
Thanks guys.:thumbup1:
Right now, suspension-wise, i'm using tree huggers and one end of my whoopie sling larksheaded around my hammock (balled up hammock ends) and the other end hanging off of a marlin hitch spike.
I really don't want to have to set it up each time.
Thats just a PITA.
I guess I could just tie it permanently to one end and tie a truckers hitch to the other each side
When you're using whoopie slings and tree huggers?
How do you keep it taught with little if any sag in the line?

How do you guys store your tree straps?
I don't have any more room in my hammock bag.
They go over the boots.
Yeah, I was probably going to go the supercat stove way just because of it's pure simplicity.

Thanks for the links.
Ah, thanks for that.
And thanks to Shuggity shug-shug for getting me into all of this.
Your videos work, keep them coming!
So just pour boiling hot water into a nalgene, wrap it in a sock, and throw it at the bottom of your Top Quilt/Sleeping bag?
Looks like an awesome view.
How do we not have one of these?
Post pictures of your set-up in action:

Is there anything else you could buy, say at home depot, to use as a toggle?
I'd rather not spend $5 on something I could get for a little cheaper. haha
Or maybe some common sense item that's...
Is there anywhere that sells tree strap webbing and toggles on the same site to save shipping?
I'm having a hard time even finding toggles, is there anything else that I can use to replace them?
Thanks.
Is JRB the only place to buy your products?
Thanks again for the info guys.
I have another question, I also asked this over in the suspension forums.

A simple larkshead to...
How do you guys attach your whoopie sling to your hammocks?
Do you simply larkshead yours on?
Or is there a better semi-permanent way to attach it?
What do the dutch 'biners do again?
Pics or vids?
Haha yeah yeah.
I bought one length of 7/64" and the other 1/8", is the 7/64" difficult to make into a whoopie sling?
Thanks for the info!
Looks like what I'm wanting is an alcohol stove. Pretty sure I can DIY one of those fairly easily.
I've got two 15' lengths of amsteel blue on the way actually, maybe i can...
I have a general understanding of what to take suspension wise. DIY Whoopie Slings seem like the way to go.
But I have just a few general questions regarding hammock camping.
What portable stoves...
