i actually sewed right next to each seam ..before.. seam ripping the zippers out (and sewed two stitch lines and cut between my stitches to remove the hood. Then I folded each edge over on the hood...

You can actually still...
Removing zippers, hood, shock cord and cord locks. Should be done tomorrow. I will try to remember to get a pic or two.
