I'm in! This is getting fun!
Just one of the reasons I love this forum. This is a great group of people!
Plenty of other forums out there for the above topics, I like this one the way it is.
I like where this is going. I just might catch the DIY bug again over this one. Nice idea!
I use one as a summer sheet. I opened up the seam to about 3/4 down and finished it with grossgrain ribbon. It's kind of configured like a top quilt this way. I haven't tried it in my TQ as a liner...
Love the pics and WL! Thanks for sharing
I spent a night in my sisters 150. It was good, but I still like my 250 more. I'm only 5'8" 180#. I just like the larger bed size.
Nooo... Just found out I have to work.
Interesting
Nice report! That is one of my favorite sections.
This is probably cheaper than tyvek and tyvek tape of the same size. I suspect a little heavy though.

Sounds like a good start for a summer tq
Ask your local REI. Mine in Asheville, NC gave me one for free when I bought my double. They had tons of stickers from over vendors too.
Get in the top bunk? I want to know how you hang the top bunk, and the tarp for that matter?
Thanks for the photos! I've been wanting to get a better look at these. :)
I've got to say this has been an interesting read so far. As a diy'er and big fan of cottage industry I like the thoughts and questions this raises. As an end user I think we sometimes take for...
Looks like quite a stash!
I have their 3/4 and it fits my HH & ENO double fine. I would think their full length works just as well.
I can't speak for a bridge either. My winter set up is a Clark NX 250 with z-liners installed, a 3/4 underquilt, top quilt, and down pillow. The slug set holds it all. I bet a bridge with gear would...
Been there done that! Glad your okay!
I love it! Looks like an awesome trip.
I love the video. Looks like you've got a quality piece of work!
Thanks for the report. I hope to add at least the tq to my collection when I can build my slush fund.
Man you guys are awesome! Thanks for working hard to clean the big ditch. :)
Double is still on sale thru REI. Cheaper than a single right now. Just a thought.
I love the idea. That thing looks sweet.
Yes, z-liners have Velcro on both side so that the pockets remain closed. You should be able to duplicate this with your diy project.
I'm there if o can get off.
That thing looks awesome!
Nice, I love porch mode.
Can't wait to see the pics!
Great, I know I'm ringing in late, bfwiw, I love my big daddy with pullouts.
I have an ENO single nest for hanging in the back yard set up that way.
I think you will be pleased. I've used a few other rigs, but when I got my Clark I never looked back.:)
Glad it worked out for you! I love my NX 250.
I like it!
Great pics
Dang auto correcting spell check, camo not camp.:)
Dibs on a set of tarp skins and both of the camp a pirate buffs, pm in bound.
I use a 3/4 from Wilderness Logics. I also have z-liners. I still use them from time to time when I don't care about size and the temp isn't going to fall below freezing. I don't have a problem with...
I seam sealed my big daddy, but I'm not sure you need to. I just wanted the extra security. You could call or email Marty at Wilderness Logics. He is really easy to work with and should be able to...
I think you will love it. WL makes really good gear.
I can't speak for the tadpole, though I know a lot of people here have them. I can tell you I have been through a few thunderstorms and one hail storm with my big daddy. I have yet to get wet. I...
Simply awesome!
Another vote for UQ.
Great community effort to fit your style! Can't wait to see the pics.
I've never spent a night in a 150. I'm 5'8" 180lbs. I bought my 250 here used. I have taken a nap in my sister-in-laws 150 and can say it does feel smaller inside. But probably not enough to matter...
Redundancy is often good on this forum. It keeps us sharp, and forces us to look at old problems in a new way sometimes. Keep the questions coming!:)
I just have a large. But my gear setup is pretty much summer which is just a hammock and tarp, so I don't need the slug, and the other three seasons when I slug up. When using the slug my sleep...
