bump for tarps.
Tarp and Pole Mod is sold.
Probably 20-25 nights.
I'm listing these at good fair prices and I'm paying all shipping costs. If you low ball, I'll just ignore it. These items are priced to sell.
I've listed a condition for each item since I don't...
Yeah it's for a bridge of sorts.
I had already Googled this ad nauseum and knew the answer. But I thought there could be an outside chance someone here might know of some sorcery to solve my...
That is actually what I'll do once/if I go into production, but for now I'll have to stick to the lock stitch it seems.
Thanks for the reply. I have seen that version before, but it won't work for my application, unfortunately.
There's no way I could get my webbing loops through the Amsteel towards the end (:48) of...
Is there a way to do a locked brummel with only 1 free end while capturing a loop?
I have 2 webbing loops that i'm connecting via an Amsteel dog bone. The first webbing loop is easy, I just do a...
This is part 2 of my 4 day Adirondack, NY kayak fishing/hammocking adventure.
I go more in depth about my hammock setup in this video. Thanks for watching!

I spent 4 days kayaking, fishing, and of course, hammocking around Cranberry Lake, NY in the Adirondack Mountains. Incredible.

WOW! I'm BLOWN AWAY. Thank you so much for the kind words. It took me 10 hours of slogging away at the computer, eyes buried in the screen to edit this video. I do it because I love it. Those kind...
Glad you liked it! We should definitely get together and do some more fishing and hanging.

That is the Hobie Pro Angler 14 and it's the Cadillac of fishing kayaks. I use it a ton so it's worth it to me. Thanks!

@trailslug I Need to update my profile. I'm in GA now. I moved last Fall.
This was video 1 of 3. Working on #2 now. I'll post it when I'm done.

I recently drove 1200 miles to spend a few days in the Adirondack back country. I fished around Cranberry Lake in my kayak and slept every night in my Dutchware Chameleon. WHAT A TRIP!
They say a...
Looks like this is going to happen. I've decided on Cranberry Lake. I've already hiked around it on the CL 50. Now it's time to paddle around it. Can't wait!

Awesome guide. Thanks for posting - I'm going to pick it up.
Good to know. I'm going to skip anything that requires a portage. My Kayak (Hobie Pro Angler) weighs about 120lb dry...

Looks like Lake George might be a little further than I want to drive. I'd like to keep it to 1-2 hours from Lowville, NY.
I'm zeroing in on Cranberry Lake, Stillwater Reservoir, or Raquette Lake....
I plan on launching with my pack/food/hammock in my kayak, paddling around the lake for 4 days, sleeping wherever I can hang my hammock, then returning to my truck/trailer 4 or 5 days later.
Excellent Suggestion. I'll be there during the week, so maybe the crowds won't be too bad?
Welcome from Fort Stewart, GA! Army Strong!
Agreed! @Junebug - those are beautiful!
Hammockers - I hit the holy grail and I need your help.
I used to live in upstate NY, now we have relocated to GA. However, my wife and I are dropping off our children at summer camp in the...

I have slept many nights on a cot in the field. I need insulation underneath just like a hammock. Guys that think they don't always have a loooong night.

I started both of mine out early. Hopefully they'll grow up and still want to hang with Pops. Thanks for sharing!
Skidaway and Fort McAllister are good suggestions.
I drive by those Fort Stewart pine trees nearly every day. They are begging to host a group hang!
I have a couple leads, but no purchases yet. Thx.
Payment Received.
35 oz including stuff sack, suspension, and the spreader bars.
I'll have to weigh it. But I bought it brand new from Warbonnet a couple years ago. I'm the only one that's ever been in it. It's a 9/10.
I've got a Warbonnet Ridgerunner for sale. It's the standard olive color, double layer with bug net, and cinch buckle suspension/tree huggers in perfect condition. It comes with the original stuff...
Still looking. Thx.
Looking for an 11' multicam tarp. Also a summer weight (40 or 50 degree) multicam underquilt. Have cash ready to spend. Thx.
Awesome pics! Looks like it was a great weekend. Thanks for sharing. This hang is going on my calendar for next year!
Can't wait to do this!
This is awesome. Thx.
I can't sleep on my stomach in my RR. You may be able to do it with a pad instead of an UQ, but I've never tried it.
I have the same issues with sleep as you. It takes me 2 nights to get used to...
That sounds like a good price point.
Love this pic!
I will eventually be a customer. Every time I see your work I'm blown away. Shirts are cool too!
LOVE this answer!
Thanks for that. I'm not much of a writer, but I'm learning.
Just to be clear, this is a fictional short story. Fred didn't really die.
I write short stories about how much we love our Hammocks. Sometimes they're sad, sometimes they're funny like this one: ...
