did anyone take down all of the dimensions before they took this page down? I'm looking for the dimensions of a HH Expedition Deluxe ASYM, the one for tall folks.
thanks
while i have an UQ, it's only a 3 season yeti so when it gets really cold i bust out my big agnes inflatable pad. i use the straps on my sleeping bag to keep the pad in check and use my UQ as a TQ,...
i usually hang stuff sacks to my hammock suspension. for my pack, i usually have a carabiner with me and some extra webbing so i will either hang it from the hammock suspension or from a tree. of...
I spent October - early December in my hammock in N. Texas, in a backyard. All of my stuff was inside, along with an open bed :D
2012: shift in horizontal consciousness
Thanks Pucker! Awesome stuffsack.
Hawaii is great for hammocking.
One of my favorite places is north of Kona about 3-5 miles. Going along the Queen's highway, right in front of the West Hawaii Veteran's cemetery sign, there is a...
I'm in! Thanks!
I'm in! Thank you.
Howzit Brums,
I really dig my Hennessy as well, but nearly bought a WBBB. What do you like better about the Hennessy?
Is this the UQ you are selling? Wondering about color:

After being up all night sewing the night before a 6AM flight, I decided I could finish sewing on the nylon webbing tie-outs on the road. So, a couple of sunny afternoon sittin-on-the-dock scenarios...
The whoopies are alot less bulky, and when hanging are a bit more stealth than a big, black (any color) strap going all the way down to the hammock. There are of course more aesthetic aspects to...
Just made a set of these with some leftover ripstop. I made them 3" on the narrow side and 13" on the wide side. Working great so far for my DIY BlackCat tarp.
Hello all,
I'm looking for about half a roll of Lash-It , was just wondering if anyone got a roll and doesn't need the rest, as I don't need a full one.
Thanks!
Tupelo - I'm 6'3" and held off on ordering this because of the length, how far up on your face does the fabric come up? I definitely need an uber-lite TQ. Then a WBBB and a UQ. Yay gear.
Saw this post and thought, "Oh, a hammock for your six-pack." After just having made a gear hammock, it doesn't sound all that unreasonable.
Well, after a few hours of making sure the tension was correct on this machine that is new to me, I got the first stitch sewn for my flat-felled seam. I used a ton of pins! I pinned the fabric for...
The french seam looks relatively simple. I'm wondering how easily an iron can be used on silnylon as well, anyone have any luck? Both the french seam and the flat-felled seam utilize the iron to help...
Hello,
I'm embarking upon my first DIY tarp project using the BlackCat tarp instructions here http://www.teamgunnparker.com/blackcat_tarp/Black_Cat_Tarp.htm
The main problem I'm going (haven't...
Looks like a great deal. Too bad I'm 6'3" or I'd jump on this. How'd a guy over 6' tall use this as a topquilt? Is this easily used as an underquilt? Would it be easy to add shockcord?
I'd love a ridgeline . . . thanks lymph! :D
Good to hear you got it put together. I just finished my sewing but for the cellphone pocket, and now I await the shock cord from DIY gear. Took me longer than I thought it would, but this new (old)...
What a deal on a great product. Paid around 225 for mine I think.
I'm thinking about the same thing, Tenaya. On one end (head end), he has the pocket, just inside the channel for the whoopie sling. I'm not sure if it's centered. On the other end, he has the cord...
Thanks! I think it was the logo sans picture of a UQ. 1, 2 eyes . . . thanks!
Are the Jarbridge UQs not in the sale anymore? Anniversary Sale page shows no UQ.
You've got me salivating!
...ahh, it doesn't slide because it's a locked brummel. something new every day!
Opie, this is a great little tutorial. I tried a nacarabiner yesterday with a very similar tutorial you did, and for some reason the loop on the end doesn't slide...at all. I like this one because...
This reminds me of my first, innocently ignorant hammock camping days. September on the Olympic Peninsula, before I was even aware of the idea of something under me besides my bag. 20 degree rated...
PM has been sent on WBBB, right behind ya lundquistas ;)
I've also used this pack regularly in the Pac NW and Hawaii for about 9 months. Love it. Only reason I got a different pack was size. This is a great size for lightly-packed multi-day hikes.
