I’m not affiliated but thought would pass on, Rei’s bridge is on co-op sale for $150, & a $20 gc sweetened the deal. Likely won’t hit their garage sale for less than that. Add another to the bridge...

Ha. Yea besides the mt wash I have, all the jrb rectangular quilts are sewn the same, so have to go by weight. I mix up a couple of the winter quilts regularly.
All items sold. Moderators please close thread. Thank you hammock forums!!!
Regarding the jacket, probably 600 down, sorry but my accurate scale is mia, so not sure on weight. It's pretty warm (too warm for most TX weather), and has a "puffy" loft. . On the pillow, I rarely...
Price drops: -$10 on cabellas jacket (now $30), blackbirds -$5 ea. (Black bbird $185, green bbird $165)

I have been out of work the last few months while trying to start a small business....so the gear closet is getting a little trim. All items were purchased new by myself. I bought a canoe off a...
Pm'd you. Got one for sale.
Pm sent with incubator offer
Beaks are great kit. As well as the great communication from 2qzq, grizz gave me some excellent advice for set up. Very versatile piece of gear.
I am in for group buy.
And I thought my HB triple was big. Do you need a ladder to hang the straps high enough for middle sag? You know Texans such as myself like things big.
My bedroom looks pretty similar. With a xl dog crate and 2 chest of drawers as well, I am too close to the wall for a bridge, but all the other ones work just fine. If the gf wants to take all the...
I'm 6'3", and have tq's from 3 dif makers, and they are long enough to tuck my head inside for cold or sun, no problem.
Thanks MM. I'll keep it on the amsteel & keep messing with it. It is a long hammock, but the long bed along with being spacious around shoulders is nice. I'm 6'3" and have plenty of room lengthwise.
Just got my RR & set it up this morning. Rigging it to a couple trees was a snap, but with the bridge suspension, it was a little long to work on my stand. The BRBH was the same way, but it works...
I'm in. C'mon lucky green hammock.
3 bb's, 3 travelers here. I too have an all black bb, and it contributed to my full time hang-conversion recently. Great design & craftsmanship on WB gear keeps me buying 'em hammocks. Warbonnet on.
45 holstered, and on person close to where it rides when clothed. I don't like anything too heavy in the shelf if using a BB, & prefer muzzle direction to be as controlled as possible.
Welcome.
I was at Nickerson sp around this time last year also, great park with the close proximity to nice beaches plus the kettle ponds. Besides the color, the cape was our favorite part of a long...
The big agnes is similar, but I don't have any experience with it personally. Expeds weigh a little more than some pads, but are pretty bomber build quality. I think at least one or more members...
Exped makes a good airmat in a style that sounds similar to the one you are using now. The air pockets run along the long side, like a pool lounger. I have the downmat in deluxe size, which is a 26"...
Pm sent....
golite has syn topquilts that look to be spec. with their down quilts. Not sure about the fill quality, as I have no experience with them, but with the 40off coupon they have going, pretty hard to...
Same here. Seems to be an error with the shopping cart page.
I have an ORM in long, & it is roomy for me, at 6'3", 210. I have never been cold using it as a TQ. Never used it for an UQ, but have an extra JRB suspension for it that works just like their...
I received today, & am sleeping tonight in my black on blackbird.:cool::cool:
pm sent, if still avail.
Beat me to it. I was going to ask if the black BB I recently ordered is US made.
Oh, & sorry Swoosh, but not giving mine up. ;)
pm sent for circuit
Full time college is no joke when you have other responsibilities such as a job or business. If a retailer states that on their site, as he does, you have to take that into account in expecting...
I put my stakes in a spinn OES bag, sometimes packed with extra cord, & it has held up to those pointy things well.
A little of the opposite for me, I first bought the mc ultra & now think its almost too much coverage for 1 hanger. Just got shipping notice on a mc deluxe to solve that. I also got the 2q grizz...
makes me think of the Seinfield episode when George offers the security guard a chair, that he falls asleep in.
Thanks for the tip! 75% off is a hard deal to say no to. Now just for some cool weather for down testing.
Mt. St. Helens was one of my first stops on a Oregon / Washington trip 2 years back. Beautiful place. My rig at the time @ the climber's bivouac, & a clear day on the crater rim.
awesome rig. The r&d on cuban for tarps keeps looking more promising. Cuban is looking like the new king of UL.
I have been leary of slinging to the Thule towers. Don't think they were designed for that angle of stress. It is a lot easier to find 1 tree than 2 in some areas though.

I was only speaking to the general weight of exped products in general. I very much like the DM 9 DLX, but would only consider backpacking with it if I was above treeline, and would possibly...
Nice review. I have been very happy with the quality & construction of my Exped DAMs & multimat. Only caveat, as others have mentioned is weight.
Large thermarest pillow under knees, small one for my big head
Did the webbing suspension change again? My first BB had the 1 1/2" cinch buckles. Are the new ones shipping with a double ring setup now?
Fresh dose for my WB sickness in en route.
oooooooohhh yea:cool:

Most all hammocks are designed for 1 person, as weight is by gravity pulled to the center (& down). My gf & I have sat on my BB...
Slept many nights in my eno double, both "Asym vs Non-Asym", & have been comfortable both ways. You'll find your' comfort zone through use. good luck.
The Dolomite is a solid synthetic bag for the money. I have used it several times down to near freezing, and was impressed. I was even comfortable without a pad (but with expedition wt. thermals). ...
Recently converted to skins, but a couple folds is all it takes to stuff the "skinned tarp" into my regular stuff bag along with stakes in guy out bag. RL goes on top, everything ready for quick...
