Only one strand of line each side,minimum tree strap length to save weight(your kevlar?)

Where did you get 1000lbs from.
3mm dyneema sk75 has a breaking strain of 1000kgs-that is 2200lbs.
1/8" is slightly larger than 3mm so even higher .
If you are that concerned about the stresses on the line change up the diameter.
3mm dyneema sk75 has a breaking strain of 1000kgs so I can't complain about strain on the line at my 130kg weight.
