I'll take it
Thanks!
Btw, I like what you have made here. Are you taking orders? How much did it end up costing you?
Hey just wondering where you got your instructions or did you do this one a whim?
Howdy neighbor! I'm glad to see a fellow Lawrencian here on the forums. Great pic BTW
Welcome from Lawrence!
Krud Kutter works on everything. I would recommend using it. I get mine at the local home depot.

I'll take an 8 yard blank!
Or I mean 2 blanks please....
What if I ordered two blanks, would the shipping be the same cost? Also is it possible to order a 8 yard blank? Looking to make a DL hammock.
Edit: sorry I just now saw that it would come as a...
Great photos! Are those HDR photos or just regular ones?
+1 on what Old Boot said
I am using a stuff sack that I purchased from good ol wally world. I think it's the dark green sack and its the largest of the three. Seems to fit just right. :)
My wife and I went out there last weekend and there were tons of people out there. Mostly college kids. Good thing it rained that night and the all scattered and left.
During the middle of the...
The wife and I went camping this past weekend. And I'm sad to say we camped in a tent, but I did bring the hammock! Heared a few people across the camp grounds, "hey they have a hammock. What a great...

I stuck this one on my nalgene 1500mL bottle.
Just got my Noah 12.
One thing I noticed, it's a darker color. The one advertised and what I have seen, have always been gray. I think this darker color is a little bit stealthier but who can't...
I just purchased the Noah 12. I like the idea of better side coverage and the fact that it has make-shift doors if set up in a rectangular fashion.
I'll try to get some photos of it set up...
Payment sent. Thank you.

I'll take the Sawyer Squeeze if you accept my offer. Thanks!
That's a sweet set up! I'm gonna use this one of these days. Thanks!
Happy Hanging!
And third.... I was going to say ask this guy. He has a plethora of info on anything about thread injection.
I forgot to mention you can also use the machines fly wheel to place each and every stitch. Very time consuming, but still gets the job done. You may want to stretch every 10 minutes or so.
What size of needle are you using? I would recommend using a size used for denim. Also make sure your tension is set correctly, which is different for every machine.
Bad thing is I ordered it today (Friday) and free two day shipping which means I have to wait longer! Dang weekend! Haha
I know this is no Superfly, but I pulled the trigger on the Kelty Noah 12 footer.
Free two day shipping at backcountry.com
This will be my indroduction to tarps and to me this will be a great...
Very interesting, I've never seen anything like this. Guess they don't use those in my neck of the woods. The only time I have ever seen a HME used is on a ventilator circuit. Learn something new...
An HME would not work with a cpap mask. The hme works by trapping the moisture from exhaled breaths. Since a cpap mask has an exhalation valve on the actual mask and no air is sent to through the...
Welcome! I'm from the Lawrence area!

I'm just now coming to terms with just saving $ for one. I've toyed with the idea of making a clone but I feel my skills are lacking.

What about your ridgeline?
Great video!! I will definitely be using this when I get around to making mine!
Oh yeah, I love oatmeal too!
I agree. Using grosgrain along the edges may turn into a luxury. I may not even do this.
Yeah I figured I would still have to seal the seams.
No stretch ridgline...........that's BRILLIANT! :woot: Mind if I steal your idea?
Welcome from the little house on the prairie!
Thinking of making a DIY tarp very similar to the WB superfly.
Sorry if this has been asked before. I'm on my phone and its a little cumbersome to do searches.
My main is question...
Does...
Nope not yet. I've been playing with the idea of making a BWDD winter tarp but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I saw this tarp for sale and thought what a great first tarp. Oh well maybe I should...

As a respiratory therapist I recommend you search for a mask called an N-95. They are used in the hospital setting to filter out all kinds of airborn particulates of the microscopic size. Just make...
