The Superfly fits over it just fine with the spreader bars as is. Not sure why you want to modify this hammock so badly, it's perfect the way it is...
Yep, shortening that triangle would be a bad idea...
Yep, that's what I tried to explain in my quick video with the Superfly. You can still close the doors but there will be a little gap. Shouldn't be a problem that I can see though...
Lookin sweet spaceweaseal!
Just wait, the more time in it, the better it gets!
I just crawled out of mine about an hour ago, camped in my backyard last night in the rain. Best nights sleep I have ever had in a hammock :)
Awesome! I did a grueling 40 mile climbing ride with my bike club yesterday, and after I set up the Ridgerunner to relax in. I fell asleep in minutes lol
My fiancée was laying in the ENO DN next...
After setting up my Ridgerunner many more times and taking naps in it, I'm completely psyched I made the switch! I can set it up faster than I ever could my Blackbird. I don't have to spend so much...
I could definitely see an issue if you were to hang your butt off the edge, when on your side. When I'm on my side my legs only curl up a little bit, I never go to fetal or anything close to that.
See I don't have the "tipiness" that people keep talking about, and can't imagine how I would ever roll this hammock. To me it feels completely stable and reassuring. Also, laying on my side is...
I noticed that as well, extra storage area! I think this hammock is going to have a huge following, just like the Blackbird, the more people get to use it and think of accessories and what not....
I was wondering the same thing...
You could have a point lol
Making myself a bag tonight for the poles...out of CAMO!! lol
There was a beautiful package waiting for me when I got home today :D
I'm 6'-6", right at the limit, so we shall see how it fits!
