Jenny, awesome video, very sleek looking, if I did'ent already own 5 of your under quilts I would order another one. Hope yall are doing well.
That's a mighty fine quilt set you got there. I'm curious to if that's storm crows new design for the burrow. I like it, it appears to have very little taper with a really wide footbox. All my...
This is just an awesome invention/idea....kudos and great video as well

Planning on coming up Saturday just for the day with the wife and our twin three yr old boys. Not camping this year with then hopefully next year.
I'm hoping to be their with the whole family this year. Were Planning to head up Saturday and stay through dinner. Just got to convince the wife to let me stay the night and camp.
When I get to camp early, and I've eaten and finished my camp choirs, we'll after all that sometimes I like to sit and think, and sometimes I just like to sit.
Sound man it be great to see you it's been ages. By the way I still use the Phish mug you gave me I love that thing. I should be at this one so see ya their.
I always carry one extra dynaglide woopie. Figure if both break well at that point I better head home anyways. But I also inspect my suspension before and after every putting.
Dutche's new Kevlar 2.2 straps with dynaglide woopies and woopie hook. Just got a pair this weekend review and weight coming soon.
OK so I have a winter palace that I generally only use car camping. Why, I got annoyed with the condensation of Sil. However I orginaly got it for my wife for back pack trips. As for snake skins....
I figured I would just tow in a whole other car. That way I would have my bases covered. :)
just read through the whole thread so not sure if I'm going to be able to make it but if you see someone pulling in 8 o'clock Saturday night that's me. right now it's 50-50 depends on what things...
I am just under 6' and I use the regular HG TQ. It comes up to just about my forehead. I find it to be the perfect length. Esp. for my 20 TQ and 0 TQ I like that bit of extra length to cover up...
I have more TQ's from HG then I know what to do with and have never used an EE TQ but have handled them in person and snuggled up in them. The biggest difference between the two is the foot box and...
Wow amazing pics and thanks for the great read. I may have to use this to convince my wife to go on a trip to Finland to hammock.
Welcome from a MD'er right outside of B-more. Glad to see another MD'er getting into the trees.
Pillow, TQ, Head Lamp, trail guides and map, phone, personal medications, those items are all seasons. In colder months I have the hot water bottle, fuel, water filter, camera,
Forgot to add my...
I am 6ft. Short incubator covers me from shoulders to an inch or two past my heels. My full length incubator easily covers me from over my head to plenty of room past my feet.
Ok so good new bad news. My class does interfere with he hang. Class ends at 4p.m. on Saturday so that's when I'll be heading up.
Yall know my car never was the same after that night lol. And funny as it is just sold it a few weeks ago and actually got decent money for it. The wife would never let me hang again if that ever...
Awesome time thanks for the great food and great laughs. Great seeing old friends and making new ones. Mychal wish we would of meet hopefully at the next hang or when I come up to dirty jerz to...
Ok got permission I'll be their for sure Saturday at some point 50/50 for Friday. I can't open the Google dox. I also have two friends coming down from up state NY. So count me +2 in for the hang
You could also add an under quilt protector and when you set up at night make sure you choose a location that is protected form the wind. Doors on a tarp also help this.
I do. Its on my watch which I take off at night and hang from my RL.
The best way to keep bugs out of your shoes is to leave them at home and hike barefoot. :lol:sry couldent resist.
Bu seriously, I just leave my shoes on a ground cloth under the hammock and...

Or like this with an emberlit stove

Of course. New hangers are encouraged to come it's a great opportunity to learn and check out people's gear. Juts sign up on the Google sheet.
I hope to convince the wife to let me go.
Yep. I larks head the fixed end of woopie to the tree strap.
Always tie a half hitch but your experience us exactly why I use inverted woopie slings with dutch hooks. Its a pretty fail safe system.
Did anyone mention ditching the Atlas straps  and the Pad will work but if you want to keep you whole body warm you will need a full length pad. Happy hanging.
Just aired on Inside Edition. Pretty awesome Fronkey. Although I was suprised their was no Hammock Plug lol.
As for stakes that will vary I usually like the Ti V Shaped ones Dutch sells them. As for the line the guy out lines lots of options I use very thin line forgot the diameter of it. As for the...
100% of the time strung up (I keep them packed in snake skins) 99% of the time deployed.
Now thats an awesome idea. I'd be able to loose any part of my suspension amd have a back up without worry. Great idea papa smurf. Now when are they coming out in Titanium???
What rating is the Burrow/Incubator combo? If it's the 40 then you'll be fine IMHO. Having it for warmer temps the heat loss won't be as big of a deal (in theory depending on how cold your feet do...
My wife is 4' 11'' 105 (no one better tell her I shared that) and her favorite hammock is the WBRR. However that is no where near light. Her second favorite hammock is a WBBB 1.1 dbl (only dbl...
Haha reading this thread made me laugh cause it would take me at least 24 hrs to pack for an overnight let alone a multi day trip. I am disorganized and move slow when it comes to packing. I am also...
It's an awesome trail. I hiked it a while ago and the data book is well worth it. The one mistake I made on the trail (and you'll understand once you get the alpine club data book) was that I hit...
