I can't possibly think I would want to have any chance at being cold to save a few ounces. At the temps you would be using a 20*, go for the Incubator.
Just my 2 cents and I own a 0*, 20*...
Wow! I sit here at my desk just craving evermore to get out. How is a guy supposed to get any work done. Thanks for sharing and contributing to my Seasonal Affected Disorder!!!! At least I will be...
I'm in. Hope to thank you in person soon!
Something seems wrong here. I can't see how these events could have escalated to this level. The customer service from Hammock Gear has always been first rate, "in my experience". I have had them...
I have had no issues with folding my tarp. I see no permanent creases and don't suspect I will have any issues. The folding technique I use was passed along to me by Adam himself. You just detach...
Standard stuff sack made of cuben fiber for my 4 season. I fold the tarp and then wrap the guy lines around the folded tarp to complete the package and minimize tangles.
Their new site lists the 20* with 2" baffles and 4" baffles for the 0*. You should definately be warmer with the larger baffles versus overfill. Specs are listed in the quilt drop down.
Just received my pound of down yesterday "0*Burrow". It's sweet! Placed my order just before Thanksgiving.
Adam and Jenny are great people that make great gear. They have always taken care of me. I am sure they are swamped right now with the Black Friday fallout. Highly recommended!!
So other than the load limit, those with experience, could someone please extol the advantages (drawbacks?) of the different materials? I own one hammock made of 1.0 ripstop (I think the same...
Good Luck through all this mayhem! The site looks great!!! Just make sure you both get some rest!

That should be real nice! I too am trying to make a final decision on the materials and such. Sometimes you get paralysis by analysis!! Hopefully I can pin it down in the next day or so.
Wow! You have gone above and beyond expectations. I did not mean to put you through so much work. This chart is great and should help everyone evaluate options. Thank you greatly!

Own one myself with 2oz. overfill. Top shelf! Enjoy!!
How much weight variance would you estimate is due to just changing the fabric weights, everything else being equal? No doubt a DB 72 will weight more than a DB 60 based on size alone. In a single...
How much fabric (approx.) is required to make each version of your Dream-Hammocks? This would help in determining the weight penalty of the various fabrics versus comfort and the advantage of...
Nice!! Makes me want to pack and go now. Luv the change of pace and reflection when going solo. My last solo was 37 miles of the Black Forest Trail this past August. Thanks for sharing!
PA is a beautiful state and one of my fAVORITE destinations! Enjoy!!
Logged in for the Buckeye state.
Hello to all! Some day I would like to met up with everyone and meet my fellow buckeye hangers. This trip is out since I am taking some scouts down to Otter Creek WV this weekend. Maybe next time....
Hey good luck to you! Knee issues suck and sounds like yours are real bad. At least you will get it fixed. Take is slow so you can get back on the trail!
I been using a Western Mountaineering down pillow that keeps disappearing under me every time I sit up or move . What's your best solution to this?
Thanks!

Hello to all!
