Sorry, neither of those would work for me. Thanks though. Closing thread.

If you decide to look at a 3/4 quilt, I've got a 4 Season KAQ Jarbidge I'd sell $120 shipped. Black inner and outer with standard suspension and stuff sack from arrowhead.
Looking for something akin to the 3 season KAQ or loco libre synthetic top quilt. Can be DIY as well.
Not sure on size but I am 6'2" and 225 lbs so maybe a tall version??
If you're interested...
Does it come with stuff sack?

How did you do the suspension? Any close up pictures of the quality? [emoji4]

Very nice. I like the custom fit. I've been using the jarbidge with my bridge hammock.
Very nice and detailed build. Thanks for sharing. I too did a DIY bridge and love the lay.
Id like 1.
Very nice. Thank you for the plans..... I notice you're in Crestview. I'm just west of you in Pace. I do a lot of overnights in the Blackwater management area. If you're ever out that way let me...
Welcome from Pensacola. (More precisely, across the bay in Pace). If you're anywhere near this area I've got an overnight trip planned with a fellow HF buddy on 2/12. You're more than welcome to...
You won't regret it. Great quilt you're getting.
Looks great. I once did a DIY climashield quilt but I had a heck of a time keeping the CS straight while sewing it onto the shell because the CS kept lofting so much. Did you use any tricks in...
That is a thing of beauty. One of these days I'll do some upgrading to down quilts.
A lot of my clothing gear happens to be black in color (synthetics, under armor, etc) To start I built my first DIY TQ and did not think to make sure the material was down proof. I would go to sleep...
Love my 4s Jarbidge on my DIY bridge. Never had a cold night and super easy to dial in.
Definitely the KAQ. I own a couple and they are primo gear. Excellent quality and the rating are right on.
6 foot guy lines so I can do porch mode too..... I use Lawson reflective cord from Dutchwaregear. It works well with line lock 3's too.
S or J straps? Color too please? [emoji1]
Hammock, dog bones and stuff sack weigh in at 11.5 oz.
I fit a 4season jarbidge and 10 degree TQ (DIY from a mummy sleeping bag, so larger than ither TQ"s) inside my ULA CDT with plenty of room for my other gear. There is enough room I could add more...
I love pack yard testing! Especially coming into a warm house with breakfast already made. [emoji4]. I usually end up leaving my rig hanging until afternoon and go back out to pack it up.
I've tried it..... The material is fragile and tears easily though.
Where I live you never know if your trees are going to be 6 inch - 4 feet in diameter or 9 - 20 feet apart..... Most of the time 4 foot straps would work but not always for me. So I use 6 foot strap...
The zeppelins are 47" wide. At least for 2016 models. I don't think they've changed them though so it should be 47" if not too old.
As far as undoing the locked brummel I think that's going to be a headache..... I've done some splicing and it seems once that thing buried it's for good. I've tried to undo a buried tail with no...
Not if using whoopie hooks. Or at least I don't. But anywho HYOH. [emoji4]
Btw, I would recommend the Hexon for sure..... 1.0??? Idk though. For how small of a rig your wanting the 1.6 isn't going to add much weight.
HYOH!!! Oofda! I like that you know exactly what you want.... No matter how far from the "norm" it is. [emoji1]
^ what he said.... I got Hexon 1.6 in a gathered end and bridge. There is some stretch but I weigh 220 lbs. someone you're weight I doubt would feel much stretch.
I'm using hammock anchor system with huggers. Instead of the toggle with Marlin spike I am using a multi buckle. I'm really loving the adjustability of this setup.
And just a quick mention.... ...
Living in Florida I've never been below 20 F. Looks like so much fun though. I'm slowing buying up winter gear so hopefully I'll get to go single digits one day.
I've been considering doing something like this. Do you have any pictures of the finished product? Does the shell have draft collars?
I always make sure to eat a big meal and keep a snack hanging on the ridge line. For me, as long as I keep my body fueled I stay warm. (Usually a snickers bar for me)
Looks like your stitches are holding. [emoji1]
9th bullet point down....

Welcome from Pensacola, Fl. I lived just north of Joplin, Mo for 22 years before moving to Florida. I sure do miss the Ozarks.
Yes, I am working on a new design I've not yet seen on other bridges..... It will be completely removable with no stitching/zippers/Velcro onto the hammock needed. Will be a couple weeks buts it's...
Welcome from Pensacola, Fl. Are you close to Conecuh forest? I'm trying to plan a trip there and you're welcome to come along.
Very nice stitch work... I wish I could stitch lines that nice.
Yes, I used 36 inch spreader poles on both head/foot ends. However, I am getting a very slight elevation in my feet. I am considering cutting down the foot end 1-2 inch to see if that will lower...
Oh, I'm not using the 2" straps. I'm never in Floridas state parks. Florida also has some national parks and WMA's where all of my trips are...... You could hang most places in Florida with 4 ft...
I live in Florida and they require 2" straps in State parks.
I did miss the ridge line on her maiden voyage but I'm going to remedy that soon. I plan to sew on pockets to each side. I think warbonnet calls the saddle bags. That should give me plenty of space...
Spent New Year's Day on a single over night along the Florida trail. Only got to 40 but was pretty windy so probably felt closer to 30 degrees. My new DIY bridge was so comfy too. Had a great night...
Yes..... Something about that anyway. The only length measurement I know for sure is the 83" section. The ends I kinda eyeballed and estimated.
Okay. Here is a quick drawing of what I did with my design. I made a simple rolled hem and used my loop puller to run shock cord through it and put cord licks at each end. The straight edges of the...
I'll try to post a diagram up tomorrow of how I did the end caps. Been laying in it tonight and so far it's everything I was trying for.
Sorry, forgot to figure in dimensions reflecting seams.
Final dimensions - 80 in long x 45 in head/feet x 33 in middle.
Cut dimensions - 83 in length x 48 in head/feet x 36 in middle.
