I'm one of those people who like to have a travel pillow or stuff sack full of clothes under my knees when sleeping in a hammock; I tend to wake up to a hyper-extended knee if I don't.

I'm in the same boat as you, Lonely Raven. I keep trying to hang the hammock in the backyard to test out some modifications, but the heat and humidity is just too oppressive. :(

I have a Z-lite pad that I use when I cannot hang. Nowhere near as comfortable as the Blackbird, but sometimes you do whatcha gotta!
