I had the full set up, the hammock was quite large with plenty of room, solid build but very heavy, the bug net was good. I had the tarp for when I slept on the ground but as others have said, too...

I slid mine on, the ridge line can be pulled through and pushed back through the gathered end. At least mine could when I added the organiser and whoopies.

Before you buy I would explore some options, have a word with Mat at UK Hammocks, he has some very good kit and offers a good service. No connection just a happy customer.
