It is a little like that but not exactly. It doesn't wrap around the tree like that.
See how there are loops trough out the webbing. And how is wraps around the tree (white thing) then hooks onto one of the loops. This suspension has halved my set up time and made it way easier.

I think I am going to make a new hammock because mine is getting small. On the HHs it looks like they are very wide. What is the best width for an UL hammock but keeping it easy to sleep in?

I love his site. My hammock is made of teffida (spelling ?), it is a littles small. The tarp is 8 by 8 and is pitched by the corners sorry I don't have a picture.
I need some ways to stay warm in chilly weather, but not freezing temps. What are some ways to keep warm but still have a UL hammock?
