Very cool. Thanks for the video. :)
Kinda crazy how small a world.
Welcome from walker, mi. Backpackerguy, I grew up in Hudsonville.
Congratulations. :) have a great honey moon.
I think ill try this. Currently a lot better in the budget department for sure.
Also, how tight were you able to pull it?
I think its pretty neat. And besides who needs a tarp when the suns out. [emoji16]
So I have checked out this thread before and have been super interested in doing this for quite a while. Well I finally went to Lowe's and got the pieces. I did however go with the 1/2 in black pipe....
Nope. No issues here.
Well apparently it works now. Just got a notification from the hammock forums section of tapatalk. Not sure what changed but its cool.
Its 4.4.1. I will try reinstalling.
I am running android. Stock HTC rezound. I did check on the push notifications and they are all set to on.
I have all the threads I'm following stared and still nothing. I hadn't even gotten the notifications about these replies. Very weird.
I'm wondering if anyone has it where they don't get any notifications from tapatalk for HF? I get them from the other forums I'm a part of just not here. Any ideas?
Lol mine too.
That's what I was thinking.
So while relaxing on this New Years morning I stumbled across an awesome site about backpacking. http://www.thehikinglife.com/ I haven't read through all of it yet but so far it's been incredibly...
I'm 5'11", and I have a double grand trunk. It says it supposed to be 10'6" but when I measure its only 9'6". Is there a different hammock that is actually the length its advertised as?
I'm 180lbs and mine are doing the same thing. So definitely not the weight.
If you would like some great suggestions check out Shugs YouTube channel. He's got a ton.
That looks really nice. I might yet be able to hang upstairs. :)
I'm not currently interested, but I thought I would say EMS is great gear. I have a fleece jacket I got on clearance quit a few years ago that is awesome. It's getting a little on the thin side now....
If only I was still in hvac, I could do all myself.
Holy crap, that thing is cool looking. I will have to build one since the biggest thing holding me back from hangin in my back yard is the "dreaded widow maker" per Shug. :)
Not sure if its an option, but I currently have mine hung in the basement. I use one of the holes in the floor joists that our electrician ran some new wire through and then put my own at the other...
I'm not sure if I just missed it the first time or what, but I've got it now. Only problem is I think its making my hammock addiction worse. :D
Very cool. thanks again. :)
Awesome thanks Shug. I must say, I should've just gone to your videos before even posting. I've watched them both already and never gave them a second thought. I will watch them again for sure.
Not gonna lie, I basically tried to do the same thing this weekend for my first time with ratchet straps, a screw driver and a tire iron. Needless to say it didn't happen. I guess if it hadn't been...
So I'm still trying to figure out all this hammock stuff. When I'm measuring my hammock to get the length so I can get my "83%", should I have the ends gathered in my continuous loops or not? With...
I also added myself.
When your on the page, click on your name, then click edit. After that click on the icon and it will give you the choice of your images and it will be in there.
I have no idea. :(
It's a version of an email address I've had since highschool. It's another name for vampires. Always something I've found interesting.
Just wondering if there is a free version of tapatalk or just paid? And which one is the best?
