Arrived, look great, thanks!
Query: How is it we could group buy a relatively small quantity for under $1, and the BSA with its' buying power charges $2.50 for a merit badge patch?

I had to get one before this group buy/vendor sale.
Not disappointed either.
Did the Ultimate Hang mods and have it set up with my custom DangerBird!
Scout outing this weekend, at a battlefield...
Thanks for tip...bought one for that price. I'll review it once it gets here.
Alright, hanging one weekend a month with the troop just isn't good enough.
I'm looking for a permanent home on the back deck for my DangerBird.
I've built the folding PapaSmurf, etc., stand, and...
How did I miss the second round?
Ugh!
Let me know if there is a third round,
Scoutmaster at Carlisle Troop 5 dot com
So the 14 year old is in Philmont for the next 2 weeks...He hangs full time in a Brazillian Hammock in his room. Momma thought it would be nice to wash it while he is away.
Any tips on washing one...
You guys are going to make Dutch's head swell if you keep it up...then he will need to create the Dutch Helmet to reform it to normal size. That, of course, will cause another cycle of well-deserved...
If you are packing a tenkara fly rod, you have to stop in Bubbletown (Boiling Springs) and fish!
If you aren't taking fishing gear, PM me...I fish there often and can bring some gear and grub. ...
1. What iOS device you have (e.g., iPhone 3S)
iPad 2, updated
2. What is your current hammock kit for 3-season camping (hammock, insulation, suspension, etc.).
year round, whoopie and huggers
3....
Thanks for the link; the video is perfect.
Thought I read somewhere in here that you can't prusik zing-it to zing-it.
Those soft shackles look just like the ticket...I'm making some of them...
I bought one as a spare to loan to a scout looking to try hanging...loaned it out this weekend to a new leader. He slept well, but reported it may have been too short for him to get a comfortable...
I had a heck of a time with my super fly, zing-it, dutch hook and dutch flyz this weekend.
I made a CRL, under the tarp (suppose it didn't matter), one end has a spliced dutch hook, the other end...
I'd be interested in 24 now. This tree hanging is getting contagious!
I liked the Nike swoosh hat...wonder if they sponsor his videos?
Thanks for posting!
Wish I could get there...Klondike Derby weekend for the Troop. We are heading out on the AT this Saturday, Pine Grove to Bubbletown. Looking for a Philmont Shakedown venue for the March Hike. ...
Do you still have these?
We'll be on the AT that weekend. Where are you hanging out at?
Welcome to our Council!
Did the scouts make it through the night in the cold cabins?
I would have slept in my hammock too!
LOL! That's a great story!
Heading off to change...follow if you must.
Yep, one end has the weather shield, with a bag. The other end has a bug net, with a bag. Both share the same zipper system.
Pure genius.
A 22 short should do it....think not...read on.
My personal favorite defense gun has always been a Beretta Jetfire in 22 short. Over all the years I've been hiking I never leave without it in my...
Finally got my photos uploaded.
DangerBird arrived about 2 hours before departing for camp. Typical winter camp...it was dark when we arrived. So my first set up was in the dark, cold, and wind....
To make it taller? Any suggestions?
Probably means this cool stand wouldn't work!

Minimum quantity of 60 means Group Buy time!
But my...
Rats...another plan shot down by well-experienced hangers. Thanks for saving me the cash!
So my spam filter didn't stop an Amazon email this morning...interesting, because normally I don't see all that crap.
Perhaps it was coincidental that the message contained a link to a Wooden Arc...
I agree! Only spent 2 nights in my DangerBird so far, but it was very comfortable. According to the weight charts, I'm supposed to be 8'4" - I'll get there someday, but right now I am only 6'1".
My DangerBird worked perfectly ths past weekend. It held up to high winds and cold nights, and did me well.
I'll get photos and a review up soon...but don't wait on me...pick one up and check it...
**** USPS...it didn't arrive today...should have, and it should be here by tomorrow for camp this weekend, but I was looking forward to the test hang in the backyard.
So was Mrs.Fuzzie!
Fuzzie: My new hammock shipped today.
Mrs.Fuzzie: What new hammock?
Fuzzie: You remember, the one I ordered for myself for Christmas.
Mrs.Fuzzie: Oh...
Fuzzie: I'm going to have to set it up...
PapaSmurf shipped my custom 2 layerDangerBird today! I can't wait...I'm like a kid trying to sleep on Christmas Eve.
Good thing music went from LPs to digital, else my needle would have worn...
That's a great suggestion!
And I can use amsteel to hoist him up into the trees...now I am OK with having to make this costume!
I have the DIY bug...at least for gear.
Now, 10 year old needs a squirrel costume for a school play...guess what my thread injector is going to making?
Wonder how I can incorporate whoopie slings...
I know there is an app for HF...perhaps you opted to use it instead of the browser. I'd completely restart your iPad and try. If that doesn't solve it, try another browser, either dolphin or opera....
I dig the WBBB cover...hmmm, looking at a DangerBird, but this cover could be the ticket.
Can't wait to add a little Neil Young riff to my droid alarm clock! Can't wait to hear the scouts ask "Who sings that Dangerbird song?" "Neil who?" "He sounds sick" "Yeah, sick in a bad way, not...
Any! We aren't picky, and we can tape it together.
For those times when we have to go to the ground, probably 3 x 7 or 4 x 8 to be safe.
Thanks!

Woot has a Singer Fashion Mate Sewing Machine for $150 today...anyone have this thread injector?
Amen!
Any chance I can order a custom DangerBirdXL, double layer 1.7, so my butt won't rip through it?
Merry Christ-mas to all the hangers!
For some reason, Momma won't let me hang tonight to test out my cold weather setup.
Hmmm, maybe next Saturday...
Let's see...should I finish Christmas shopping or go dumpster diving for Tyvek?
Stores will be open all night...a lot easier to dive during the daylight.
Who bought 60 of these?
I'd love to get my hands on 6.
Thanks!
Have to find a store close by, shipping is more than the tool!
Cool tool, where'd you get that threading tool?
Still on both of mine.
Buddy uses one, with contents of his pockets, flips it over for added wind/bug protection.
Son uses his same way, but he usually falls asleep before he remembers to flip it...
Number 5: Whoopie Slings!
Second this. I love my WBBB.
Buddy of mine is selling one he bought about 1 year ago...supposedly it was never taken out of the stuff sack. He started teaching a Sunday School class, and has not...
