You should have used Dynaglide. A bit smaller diameter, yet 2 fold stronger.
But I say this prior to seeing your design.
In a static hang where you are sure you have no more than a 30 degree angle on your suspension, it would work fine.

You can make/buy them made from Dynaglide. I pulled a DG sling apart and it failed around 960 pounds. I think Dutch also destroyed some DG and it gave at 940, IIRC.
