For Sale - Warbonnet Edge tarp (original size 126"x96")
The tarp is in great condition and I honestly don't want to part with it. I have a WBBB XLC hammock now and this tarp is just a bit to short...
Used it down to a rainy 60ish degrees with a light fleece blanket. It was a great success! I am not sure how much colder it could go but it did everything I was hoping for.
Stayed warm
Never got...
Well, I got to try it out. It was not very cold but cold enough to get chilled if you slept with nothing under you. A buddy of mine had nothing and said he felt pretty cold. It was probably only a...
well if this pad/mat idea ends up just being a swing and and a miss, then I may try the GG pad. I am going to try it out this weekend to I should have something to report on monday.
Do you get much of the swamp back with a pad like that? I have a tendency to get hot, then wet, then clammy with most foam pads.
I would say it is about a pound ... so it is lighter than most mats out there but heavier than some pads.
That is my biggest concern. Maybe it will only get me down to 60. I think it might still be worth it if it can get me to 60.
This may have been done before but I thought it was worth a shot.
So I was planning to make a 3/4 pad for a temp range from 55f to 70f and had planned on using insultex for insulation and some...

I have had it almost two years and used it ... maybe a dozen times.
Yeah it is green. It is the 1.7
SOLD
I have a double layer warbonnet black bird with webbing suspension for sale. I am pretty sure it is the 1.7oz fabric. It has no tears or holes and it is in like new condition
Asking $165...
Well done sir!
Ok, Cool. I really appreciate your pics and advice on this. It looks like a strong possibility for me. It would be great for those fair weather trips when there is no rain in the forecast.
Thanks...
That doesn't look too bad. How long is the ridge line when you have set up like this? The only thing I would really worry about is good coverage on the ends near the cinch buckles.
This bag has been used maybe 2 times and looks perfect.
I am not 100% sure I still have the stuff sack that it came with but I will make sure I ship it with one that fits the bag if I can't find...
No prob! Like I said in my previous post, It is very hard to beat the edge when it comes to having low weight and JUST the right amount of coverage to stay dry in a storm.
Stay Dry!
This was handled really well guys! Cheers

I actually went out this weekend and used the edge with the BB. We ended up getting a lot of rain and wind so it turned out to be a good learning experience. I saw a couple of tiny drops that blew in...
You Rock Bro! I am excited to see how this looks. I just might have to get one heading my way after I see the pics.
Really?!? I have been looking at the GoLite tarp for a while now and just wasn't sure if I should pull the trigger on it. Does it really have enough coverage for a WBBB? Do you have any pictures of...
Just picked up an edge tarp. It seems to be a great size vs weight option.
Sold pending funds.
gbs was the first to post with what SEEMS to be intent to buy (please review forum rules), but has yet to respond to my pm. So, if by monday I haven't heard anything back from gbs, then I will let it...
Still available. Sorry guys looks like hammock forums has been blocked from my current location. I will get back to those of you that have had questions in a day or so. I am sorry for the delay
If I wasn't broke right now.... Im sure it will sell
yes it is still available
I need to pick up some of these!
Would you consider selling the bk 7 without the rig? If so, how much?
I dig the knife but I don't think I would care to use the rig it is attached to.
I have not personally tried to weigh it but specs I found online show it to be 4lbs 9 oz.
But remember thats a 5200 cubic inch pack too
Probably the final drop.
$65 shipped conus
I am using shock cord on my guy out points so I don't THINK I will be putting too much strain on the tarp. I am only using it on the ridge line. I totally agree with you though, if it were on ALL the...
I ended up taking a dutch hook and very slowly and carefully bending open the hook. Now it works beautifully with 2mm line. The top one in the picture is stock and the bottom one is the one I bent.
Good to know... I am sure this has been discussed before but, if I were to prussik some 1.75 zing it onto the dynaglide would it have enough bite to hold on the dynaglyde or is it too slippery?
Price droppage $75 shipped Con-US
Also, I like to hang my boots from a prussik on my my ridge line at night. I like to have them close by and easy to grab but not on the ground. That could be causing the little bit of stretch that I...
Thanks, I figured someone had to have tried it. I am not switching because it is necessary, but simply because I think I will like it. The stretch I get with zing it is not all that much, and it...
Harstad- Thats pretty funny!
"If I die, my biggest fear is that my wife will sell my gear for what I told her I paid for it."
Its doesn't stretch very much but yeah, it stretches a bit.
Has anyone tried dutch hooks with 2mm dynaglide for a tarp. I know the hooks were made to be used with 1.75mm zing it, but I was thinking about switching to dynaglide with the thought that it might...
I prefer cinnamon. But I decided to leave it in the end just in case I ever try to sell it. Full disclosure and all.
Sold thanks!
well that was fast..... Maybe I meant $30 ... Ha ha Just kidding
I got this Choke Hazard 2 from minibull design a few months back as a gift for a friend, but I was making stoves at the time and gave him a choice. I have one of these for myself and really like it....
I am considering pulling the tag of too. Ha
This internal-frame backpack has an extendable lid and bivy with a zippered compartment for quick access to smaller essential items, and the side panel provides easy sleeping bag access. To ensure a...
Well, I appreciated the input anyway J.Andersons! You were just trying to help. Thanks
