For comforts sake, if you decide against hanging outside, perhaps you could take the eno indoor hanging kit and hang inside the cabin somewhere.

I have the bear pillow from arrowhead and love it. I also hang the foot end a few inches higher than the head end.
My wife has taken over the rr and loves it. I also have a bmbh and liked it fine...
Everything by Colin Fletcher. My favorite: The man who walked through time
I have a zero incubator and a three season yeti for gathered ends and a zero Lynx and a three season ridgecreek for the WBRR. This covers whatever I might encounter. This give a good set of options...
I'm glad you got it to work. I was too lazy or dumb to figure it out. I sent it back after a couple of days. I like their topquil, though.
We had a great time and say a big thanks to everyone who came and worked so hard to make this a success. It seems to get better every year. The vendors are amazing and so generous. I won a buff from...
The Dutch clip can be turned a certain way and put through the biner and then turned to act as a toggle. It will hold just fine and should not damage the clip, the biner, or the webbing. This is...
So confused right now
I am just going to bring whatever i have available and hope it works
Or i will just go find some trees
Send Dutch a private message and he will describe the best...
Looks like a great trip! I loved the guitar pickin' around the campfire. You knew I would notice that.
Looking forward to part 2. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations, Paul. It looks great!
I have the winter Lynx and love it. I also am very happy with my ridgecreek for warmer weather. I've seen the ambush and it is very fine also. I prefer having the quilts that are made for the RR.
Mine had no scratches or peeling. I guess they were tight enough in the box/bag and were not handled too harshly in shipping. Fwiw, I was number 13 on Kickstarter. I think TATO gear is packing them...
This stand is great! Mine came in last week. Because of recent heart surgery, I'm not allowed to lift over 10 lbs....so my wife came to the rescue. She unboxed it, set it up, hung the ridge runner,...
I have the ridgecreek and the Lynx. They both do a great job and the fit is perfect.
Hey Lifescout, Chehaw park in Albany, Ga. (About I hour north of Thomasville) is nice. I've hung there several times and always enjoyed it. No back country but a few nature trails and a pretty nice...
Any word on the drone video yet?
The yeti 3s is a great uq. I am always amazed at how warm it is for the weight. I also have a rr and the Lynx. Warbonnet makes great stuff!
Check your hand angle. Less than 30 degrees may put stress on the pole.
I use a 0 degree Lynx and the 3 season ridgecreek. Never had a problem with cold butt or back. The fit is so good on both. Love my ridge runner. I have a Clark nx250 that was my favorite winter...
Thanks for keeping the videos and your shows g rated. My wife and I saw your show at the Ga. National fair a few years ago. It was great in every way and you were so kind to give us a few minutes of...
We had a wonderful time and are looking forward to next year. Thanks so much to Gumbo and Timberrr for the incredible amount of work and love you put into this event. Your great team of volunteers...
We finally got signed up! looking forward to seeing everyone!
I have the Clark 250 and the blackbird, among others. The Clark is my favorite. I keep the zliner in year round. In warm weather, I use the blackbird or ridgerunner. I've taken the clark down to...
I use the lazy slug tube (large) and love it.
Why didn't you bring your new TATO hammock stand and have whole state open to you for hanging? Just curious.
Glad you had a great trip. Looking forward to more pictures.
It's a great trail. I've hiked and camped there many times. Unfortunately, the last time was 25 years ago, without hammocks. I've got to try it again, the "right" way. Thanks for the reminder.
Welcome to HF. Charleston is a great city and North charleston was recently voted one of the coolest cities in the U.S.
I went to a group hang Santee st.park last fall. I had a great time and met...
Not where I was, last week. I was with a group in Fairbanks, Ak. Volunteering at the Iditarod race. It got down to -24 F on a couple of days. I was wishing I had been able to take one of my hammock...
I think I'm done. I bought two more pieces of conduit for the ridge pole and had them cut to 6 1/2 feet each. I'm staying with the 6 ft. legs (claymark select pine from Home Depot). I've hung my...
The Yoda, if you buy from Home Depot, go to the plumbing section. They may cut the conduit for you there. Be sure and have them ream it out so it will fit. Worth a try. Another option is to buy from...
The yoda, the conduit bent about 5 or 6 inches from the connector on each side.
Tato, I'm sure the angle was less than 30 so it was putting more stress on the top rail. 2 more questions: will hurt...
Okay, the saga continues. I wanted to try to get the ridge runner hanging higher so I attached the carabiners directly to the webbing and then to the loop on the hammock stand. It obviously changed...
No burrs. They were very smooth, just a little big. The conduit I'm using for the ridge pole fits fine. It's the conduit for the legs that I'm having trouble with.
Well I just got my stand put...
The pre cut ones I bought at Home Depot fit perfectly. I took the tripod top with me and tested several to get the ones that had the best fit. Tato, I'll be very interested in what you find with...
Barchetta, I'm sorry to not respond to your post. I've been off line for a couple of days and didn't get to hang last night. The wood I got from Home Depot was a premium select and looked really...
Oh, also. Congrats to TATO gear for great idea well executed.
Mine came today, just before I left town for a week. I had bought the conduit yesterday. Bought the legs tonight. Hope to hang tomorrow night. Btw the 1 1/4 inch conduit would not fit for the legs....
Do you use pressure treated 2x2s for the legs. Are they safe?(chemicals)
Will PVC conduit work for the legs?
Thanks
Got my shipping info too. Yahoo!!!
Thanks, Bryan.
Looking forward to it.
Did the kits ship out today?
I had the same thing happen and I weigh considerably less. The atlas straps are not my normal choice, but I've used them several times without a problem. I've used them only for casual hanging, not...
Thanks so much to everyone who had a part in making this such a great gathering. I was glad that my wife, Margie, was able to come. It was her first time to sleep in a hammock and she is hooked!
It...
Dawn, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Timberrr,
I've got you covered on the sound system. It's small but pretty powerful. I'll bring the system, one mic and a mic stand. Could you send me a message with your phone number? I need to talk...
The spreader bars are the same length on each end of the jrb. The body of the hammock is deeper. That makes it better as well when using the incubator.
If you just lose one piece, it would be better to not use the pole on the foot end. Then you wouldn't have the hammock in your face.
My wife and I had a great time. It was so nice to make new friends, enjoy some great food, and just relax in the beautiful surroundings. Thanks to all who made it happen.
Sorry to hear this. I was looking forward to meeting everyone. Thanks for trying, Charlie.
looking forward to this.
