i second that i got the neo air only to find the long weighs more thans the regular by like 5oz :( should have got the reg lol

Amsteel sounds great i was going to use a 30ft peice of webbing that i have used a few times ansd seems to work well i'm pretty good at the nots that come out easly like over laping the loose end...

for long distance hiking what type and how long of strap or rope do you use for hanging also i'm about 150lbs and thinking 2 10ft pices of static rope about 3/8 diameter

I have an ENO and am planing to hike the AT in a few weeks it sleeps great and has a weight rating at 400lbs
