I'm working on it. Maybe an Indian Guru can teach me to levitate.
The silicone tube isn't required. I could probably save ~1 - 2 grams by not having them. But I found the drag the tube creates helps keep the bury milked out to it's proper length required to create...
Well I gotta say those are actually UCRs. And yes, I had some problems with the UCRs being finicky when I started using them and I did end up being on the ground a couple of times. I solved it by...
It wasn't cheap. An ultralight rig could be done for cheaper. For the hammock body you could go with a cheaper material or get a Nano7, For a tarp go with an old Hennessy hiamond or Asym tarp. The...
I thought about doing it that way too. I may still do that.

Just got back in. Doing post hike clean up. I finally got some water on the tarp. Lots of pictures and a video to download off the camera.

While I'm waiting for my boy to get ready to leave I'll see if I can work up a...
Detailed pics for sure. Video I'll tinker with.
I didn't make pictures of every part. I've got it all packed up because I'm heading into the Smokies today for a hike. But I'll try getting some pics of the parts tonight in camp and post them later...
I'm planning to hike it up to Spence Field tomorrow and then down Eagle Creek Trail Wed. Unfortunately I gotta go to work Thursday.
Medicine Man, we had to get some more outdoor thread to complete...
You know, as I was outside earlier today I was thinking about that. I remember a time when sil-nylon was considered an exotic fabric in the hiking community. Only cottage industries were working with...
Thanks for all the help guys. I hope to get out and hike it some more this week.
You are probably right Shug, I edited it. But your videos were also helpful.
I have pretty much finished the project. Like any homemade gear it will be tweaked as time goes by. I'm already working on some new drawstring from Zpack after playing with it.
So the goal was to...
