Ok, I temporarily abandoned double bipod stand 1.0 for a different design/material...stand 2.0.
I'll get back to 1.1 later, but 2.0 is made from thin wall 32mm stainless tubing with dowel...

I was thinking the same...but at a loss so far.
The top of the poles (not sure of the material) has some rounded spikes intended to be inserted through a tarp grommet.
I'm somewhat worried...
Making a bipod system for camping w/o trees, but the lashing is slipping down the pipe once loaded...any ideas?
I'd rather not drill through the pipe as it's borderline thin as it is now...
