    I don't think gmcttr meant anything by his statement. I also personally don't believe that there is anything "free". Everything has a cost - good or bad.

    Yes, thank you. Finally. I found a bunch growing along the train tracks just outside town. Waiting for them to turn yellow so I can harvest them - thousands of them all along the sides of the tracks.

    Hmmm - maybe around some of the smaller lakes and ponds. I know where lots of cattails grow. While I've never seen the pods on hikes and bikes around Indiana, I'll look at stuff a bit more closely....
