Hey, it's Florida! Definitely 3 season gear ... after all, it was a balmy 25 degrees at the Florida hang :scared: Of course the rest of the country was a minus 25 :lol:

I will drive up from West Palm Beach, Friday afternoon, getting there just before dark. Then hike in a bit & set up. Saturday morning I'll wake up and go back to the fire tower.

Terri is working with that weekend for the kayak trip. There are some who would like to do both events, so maybe we should not schedule on top of each other.
I have no problem with that - but I'm still flexible, through early April.
As to the date for the hiking trip, I would like to see it happen sooner than later as Florida gets hot & buggy. As to location, anyplace is fine with me, as long as I don't see a road! I am used...
