Under quilts keep warmth from going out from under you.
figure 9s are great for setting up tarps but I wouldn't use it for hanging up a hammock. :shades:
I hear woopie slings are suppose to be the best suspension way to go. :D
If you use a sleeping bag it helps if you put a pad or a windshield reflector under it.
Another thing you can do to stay warm is to get or make a down overquilt. :cool:
Tree straps are necessary because it doesn't harm the trees like cords do.
