Which Strapworks webbing? They sell both regular polyester and seatbelt polyester. Ed's webbing is PolyPro, if I'm not mistaken.
The regular polyester webbing is bomb-proof and extremely rugged...

It depends on whether or not you use a carabiner on the end loop. No matter, though, a 2 inch or larger loop would be sufficient for almost any purpose.

I still use the same seatbelt webbing sling on one of my hammocks...after dozens of hangs it's holding up well with no lasting signs of abrasion.

It seems that he means that the single rotation in the webbing before sewing it back on itself keeps it from laying completely flat. I guess some people like that.

I think that means the webbing is twisted once over before sewing, rather than just a flat fold. I'm not sure why that would be beneficial, though.
